At Quetzal, we celebrate regional Mexican cuisine, inspired by traditional flavours and cooking styles, all cooked over a 28 foot-long open fire that runs the span of the hot line. Traditional moles, sauces and little-known native ingredients are transported to Toronto and infused with the bounty of local Ontario and Canadian produce, for a one-of-a-kind dining experience. Quetzal is located at the corner of College & Bathurst, at the edges of four Toronto hotspot neighbourhoods: Little Italy, Kensington Market, Harbord Village, and the Annex.

Le Quetzal s'est vu décerner une étoile MICHELIN pour ses délicieuses grillades au feu de bois et ses plats mexicains moins connus, qui vont au-delà des tacos et des tostadas. Une carte de cocktails créatifs à base de tequila et de mezcal, ainsi qu'un plafond incurvé et accrocheur évoquant un marché mexicain, complètent l'ambiance ultra-cool du restaurant.

Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in until we were done several courses later. Amazing service, our table was cleared often and promptly. Cocktails were fantastic, the food was incredible. Everything was executed perfectly, the rib eye was the star of the show. Such an amazing experience for my family and I. Cant wait to share this experience with friends. Thank you.

Excellent food, knowledgeable, kind and prompt service, and a fun and warm atmosphere! Inviting smells of hickory permeate the restaurant. Easily one of the best meals we have had.

Thanks for a great anniversary meal! We sat at the chef’s bar and it was quite warm from the wood-fired grills (kudos to the team cooking on them!). Perfect pace of the many dishes served for the “curated menu”.

Amazing meal. Tasting menu had 7 savoury dishes and 2 desserts, so we were super full by the end of the meal and everything was incredible.

Once again, dining at Quetzal was exceptional in every way. It's been a couple of years since I last visited and it was a pleasant surprise to see that their already-great team has gelled into something even better. Every single dish out of the park and the overall experience was enhanced by the beautiful room and knowledgeable, intuitive, attentive-yet-unobtrusive service. Not a cheap date, but a very memorable one.

Best restaurant in Toronto. The food and cocktails are absolute perfection, the space is beautiful and the service is impeccable. I will keep coming back here forever!!!
