Come enjoy a cocktail in our Tranquilo Lounge on one of our comfy velvet couches with your friends, or grab dinner in our dining room for a date night while watching our chefs create our beautiful dishes in our open concept kitchen. With over 90 Tequila and Mezcals to choose from, you'll have the option to sip on our patio, at one of the two full-service bars, in the Tranquilo Lounge or in the dining room while enjoying scratch-made tacos or ethically raised bone-in ribeye.

Open Friday and Saturday nights with late night snacks from 10-11pm and good vibes till 12am.

A little disappointed as my reservation was for 7:30pm. At 8:40 the waiter came with the credit card machine to close our check. I didn’t ask for it. She said the kitchen closes as 9. Place a was empty but that’s not my fault.

Loved the food, especially the “corn in a cup”, street tacos, chayote enchiladas, and salsa verde crudo, and the drinks (margaritas and Paloma’s). Our server Toni was the best! It’s pretty noisy, but the music was pleasant. We’ll be back!

This was our second time at Quemar and we have loved our food and drinks both times! I highly recommend the tuna tostada appetizer, the short rib burrito, and the tres leches cake. The cold brew martini was amazing!!! After dinner, we went over to the bar side and the ambience was so fun and felt like we were in a new restaurant/bar all of a sudden.

Halibut was not as good this visit. Seemed to be burnt. Not enough chips served with the guacamole.

This is the fourth visit we’ve had to Quemar and we find consistent high quality food, service and ambiance here! We love the happy hour choices and the full plate entrees! The chayote cheese enchiladas and the birria enchiladas are so delicious and the desserts are magnificent! Your margaritas are my favorite in Virginia Beach. Thank you to the chefs and staff! We will return !

The food didn’t taste good it was mid. Would benefit from changing the sauce on the tacos. Also, very overpriced for the taste. Last, making a dinner rsvp for 845 with a 2 hour limit to dine is insane with a large party. Then to be told the restaurant side closes at 10pm….. not a place I will celebrate a corporate or life achievement as it seems to cater to a night life vs fine dining.

I really love this place. VA beach is lacking in this type of culinary experience. Toni is amazing and will make it a Michelin experience. Amazing.

The restaurant was quiet and pretty empty(Monday night) we had a 7:30 reservation and was greeted and sat as soon as we arrived. Unfortunately we sat at our table for 20min before anyone even approached us, said hello, or brought us any water. Had they recognized their mistake and addressed it I would have rated them higher. I’ve been to this restaurant many times and this was the worst experience I have had (usually I have stellar service and rave reviews) hopefully this was just a one off negative experience. Their valet service is top tier though! Love those guys!
