Come enjoy a cocktail in our Tranquilo Lounge on one of our comfy velvet couches with your friends, or grab dinner in our dining room for a date night while watching our chefs create our beautiful dishes in our open concept kitchen. With over 90 Tequila and Mezcals to choose from, you'll have the option to sip on our patio, at one of the two full-service bars, in the Tranquilo Lounge or in the dining room while enjoying scratch-made tacos or ethically raised bone-in ribeye.

Open Friday and Saturday nights with late night snacks from 10-11pm and good vibes till 12am.

Toni with an i is the best server I have had at a restaurant. Quemar is exceptional in every way. One of the best places to eat in the Virginia Beach area. Every single thing is outstanding. Don't miss this place!

We dined at the restaurant on 12/12/24 to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Tabitha, the hostess, and Tori, our server, were both excellent—they provided attentive and friendly service. However, it seemed like the restaurant might have been understaffed, as there didn’t appear to be enough employees to handle the crowd efficiently. One downside to our experience was the food runner. He approached our table with one hand in his pocket and came across as disengaged, almost as if he didn’t want to be there. It was a bit off-putting and didn’t match the otherwise positive atmosphere created by the rest of the staff.

We sat for 15 minutes before anyone came to the table, so it wasn’t a great start. However, this was not the fault of the server, Toni, who is an amazing lady with an obvious love for food and who provides an amazing experience. As soon as Toni came to the table, it became a great experience. Thank you, Toni. The food was great and prepared with care. Everything tastes fresh. Ambience is lovely. Really great addition to the VB food scene.

The food was excellent. The cost to value was on point. The atmosphere was lovely. Only comment is mandatory valet is not necessary.

As our second time visiting, it was an amazing experience! The first visit was a few weeks ago with friends to celebrate a birthday and every aspect of the visit was top notch from Toni's service to the high level attention to the allergy needs of my wife and much more! Tonight we brought my parents to celebrate their anniversary and they also had an amazing experience with Toni taking care of us again along with the Chef and GM assuring my wife's allergies were taken into consideration for another great visit. Quemar has become a favorite for us and I highly recommend it!

This location is the ultimate combination of culinary excellence and ambience-the decor is seductive the food is heavenly . I have eaten here 5 times and ordered something different every time- every dish is to die for delicious. -this is one of the BEST date night restaurants in VA beach right now!!
