A family owned pub for over two decades. We serve fresh homemade food 7 days a week suitable for all dietary GF, DF, Vegetarian, Vegan

We do have some covered outdoor seating however this will not be suitable in heavy rain.

A pleasant venue with a wide menu choice including a good selection on the specials board. The staff were polite and friendly and we did not feel at all rushed.

Great food with a decent range of beverages available. Restaurant/bar environment ideal for any occasion (friends, couples, family, etc). Staff attentive and very pleasant.

As always food and service was excellent. It wasn’t their fault the next table’s noise level was at another level!!!

There is a nice variety of food available, reasonably priced and good quality, the service we received was excellent with food being delivered in a very reasonable time ,the staff were very polite and friendly and most importantly interacted at the right level ensuring we were happy with our meals .

Decided to eat here rather than in the restaurant in the hotel up the road based on reviews and photos of the specials which looked great. First up, the service and staff were great and looked after us. The impression beforehand was of more of a country pub with fine fare, but the reality is a bit of a "Harvester" vibe and more modern than expected. The menu was extensive but also started to look like a chain pub and the specials that remained (quite a few crossed out) didn't really appeal. The portions were more than enough. Bit disappointed with the mushroom starter which was dropped into a white bread roll and the mains were nothing special. Overall, it was OK and not bad value for money (almost £70 for two is pretty much the norm these days!)
