Lovely bar staff, attentive and friendly and couldn’t speak more highly. Food was just very average. Onion rings were really greasy and chicken burger was a bit disappointing but kids were happy to be fair with sausage and (decent looking) mash and a burger. Think ok for a quick dinner with your pint and a cracking beer garden and the football set up is really good!

Where to start? We have always enjoyed our visits to this pub but everything has changed in that the food was fabulous, perfectly cooked, presented and served. Their team were fun, helpful and attentive but not lingering, excellent just excellent. Live Jazz helped but pretty sure that it would have been a great experience even if there was no entertainment.

Had light lunch at Queens Head very recently (under new management) and found it greatly improved! Food and service very good. They deserve our support!

Very very disappointed with the food. Two had the pie crust so hard you could not get a knife through t one was in fact still frozen in places, scampi not very well cooked. We were offered a free Desert which one dinner had crumble, well it was like eating breakfast the topping was awful . Most disappointing visit as the last two visits were very pleasant.

The manager was awesome. Great energy - set a positive mood for the whole experience and was reflected by the whole staff team - who were a little over stretched, but with great communication, smiles, and fabulous, really fabulous, food it all worked.

Lovely pub and staff were lovely. Fun evening with band playing. Food was not amazing but ok for pub grub. Didn’t have any salad which was a big disappointment! Outside area is absolutely fabulous.
