Queen Violet is a modern Asian fusion restaurant in an unique European style building with a beautiful floral courtyard. Most of our dishes are inspired by Chef Sara Thongchoet. We also offer traditional Thai and Chinese recipes that make you feel at home. Chef Sara created her own recipes from her apartment in 2010 by cooking for her family and friends. Everyone loved her food, and her friends brought more friends! She quickly realized that the groups have gotten too big for her apartment. This moment of inspiration sparked her passion and her soul to become a chef. Chef Sara finally made “Queen Violet” happen in the heart of WeHo!
So why the name “Queen Violet”?
-Queen? We playfully imagine our customers to be Queen Bees returning to their hive (our restaurant).
-Violet? In Thailand, violet is the color of the LGBTQ, not the rainbow. So, we chose violet to represent our support for the LGBTQ community.

I was surprised there was only 2 parties there on a Friday night so it was not busy but it was a nice place to talk with my friend and catch up so glad it wasn’t loud. The place was cute but it looked like a lot more on instagram. The food was delicious prices were good and the server Earl Gray was so sweet and helpful he gave great service. We got the Tom yum soup so delicious but spicy fyi.

The dining experience was great. Food was artistically served . It was magical. Created with absolute love of art. Taste was amazingly superb. I was impressed to the max.

The food was delicious! The magic noodles were amazing! The true ambience of this restaurant is the outdoor seating which my friend and I couldn't do because of the high winds. It was our birthday January 7th the day and start of the Palisades fires . I would definitely come back for the noodles and the scrambled eggs, filet mignon and sautéed shiitake mushrooms and broccoli ! Yum!

Food was great Value was good Ambiance was fantastic They just need more help on Weekends. There were 2 servers for a jammed packed restaurant All in all we were happy to be there and will go back

Shout out to the hostess who turned server when staffer never showed up for work. Fun, colorful place. We ate outdoors. Drinks served in s unique carrier. . Food was great. Brussels sprouts and onion pancakes for an app. Pad Thai, lobster, Blue glass noodles with prawns- all great.

First time and was very impressed. Came on Christmas and it was definitely worth it. 1. Definitely make a reservation. They fill up fast. 2. Appetizer—Tuna Tartare was devine 3. Main course—Magic Noodles are amazing, Orange Tofu was great and I’m not a big fan of tofu, and Crab Fried Rice is a must! 4. Dessert—Banana S’mores Sit on the patio and enjoy the ambiance and people watching.

The restaurant is delicious, beautiful and very unique with its dishes. The tuna tartare was wonderful! It was a huge portion and very acidic. The mushrooms ravioli was just a unique spin! Sour yet creamy a perfect balance. This place made me feel special for my birthday.
