Quattro Ristorante, Grille & Pizzeria, est le quatrième restaurant du restaurateur Frank DePasquale dans le quartier de North End, d'où le nom qui signifie 4 en italien. Quattro est également situé sur les 4 principaux coins de North End, le célèbre quartier italien de Boston. Inspiré par la passion de l'Italie pour les plats de haute qualité préparés avec des ingrédients frais, Quattro apporte des mets délicieux à partir d'ingrédients simples cultivés localement. Frank DePasquale a réalisé quelque chose que peu de restaurateurs ont essayé, combinant un restaurant traditionnel qui propose du vin, de la bière et des cordials disposant d’ une cuisine équipée avec une rôtisserie, un gril à charbon et un authentique four à pizza napolitain en brique. La qualité est le mot d’ordre au Quattro, que ce soit pour les ingrédients à la préparation des plats et pour le service. Le menu unique de Quattro vise à satisfaire une grande variété de personnes en proposant toutes les catégories : les viandes fraîches, les fruits de mer, le porc et les volailles préparés juste devant vos yeux sur leur rôtisserie personnalisée.

I have been here many times but it was my boyfriend’s first time. We had a wonderful lunch here! We made a reservation and were quickly seated upon arrival. Service was great and the food was delicious. Shortly after we were seated, the manager asked if we would move over one table since they had a large party coming in. We, of course, had no problem doing so as we didn’t even have our drinks yet. But for the “inconvenience” he provided us with a free shot of espresso! Very kind. We will be back!

The food was delicious! We shared a caprese salad for a starter. I had the cacio e pepe and my husband had the spaghetti and meatballs. Both were generous portions and so good! Our server was attentive and responsive to all our needs. It was a beautiful evening, so they had the big windows open, which was a fun experience.

Was in Boston for the day with a priest friend for the installation of Archbishop Richard Henning. Leaving Holy Cross Roman Catholic Cathedral, we asked someone where we could get good Italian food. “No questions asked,” he remarked, “take a cab to Quattro in the North End.” We took his advice and were not disappointed! My friend had a pizza 🍕 and I had their famous chicken parmigiana that came with spaghetti 🍝. Both of remarked first on the solicitous service and then on the quality and taste of our meals. The prices were reasonable and the portions generous. It is unfortunate that we will probably not be back anytime soon to enjoy other menu items. Of note, the owner(?) or the host was visible and checked on us regularly. A real plus to ensure customer satisfaction!

This was our second time at Quattro. I got the eggplant parmigiana. It’s the best eggplant I’ve ever had at a restaurant. The sauce was excellent. My husband got the pumpkin risotto served in a mini pumpkin. Nice presentation, great flavor. It was a beautiful day today and the restaurant was open. We enjoyed our dinning experience.

Rough start as the hostess didn’t know the difference between valet and validate but our server was great. Food was delicious. We asked for and got a window table, though that also meant we were practically in the main doorway. Typical small North End establishment! All in all a great first time experience in the North End for our out of town guest.

Had an … interesting experience. Upon entering I wasn’t greeted and had to find the “host” who was to my left (didn’t look like he was actually working there based on attire and lack of attention to incoming guests). He didn’t acknowledge me so I addressed the person standing next to him in an apron assuming he probably worked there and he seemed to direct me into the curtain. I was called back to the front by the so called host and he ended up seating us. We settled in fine after the brief confusion and were greeted by our server. My partner is a picky eater and decided to order the calzone with no sausage and I ordered the frutti di mare special pasta. The food came quickly however we noticed right away there was still meat in the calzone so we realized we maybe weren’t clear enough with preferences. So we ask to order something else, just cheese pizza (offering to still pay for the calzone). Instead of just taking the new order the server brought us the menu I guess to prove we had not been clear enough about our customization. It was a weird moment that felt like she was trying to catch us in a lie or something. Thankfully she did end up taking the calzone off which was appreciated but the initial moment felt very awkward. Moments later a couple was seated right next to us and the host followed them to their table to ask within earshot of all the other guests if there was some kind of problem and why the guest pushed the server when he got in. After a brief and uncomfortable exchange the couple left as it was clear they were unwelcome. Maybe the host would be better suited for a bouncer role…I didn’t see the incident but it felt hostile and awkward for those nearby. The food, once ironed out, tasted good. The pasta and seafood was very fresh and the pizza was good as well. But I can’t get over how odd the service was. Maybe it wasn’t their best day but it still left a negative impression that means I will not recommend Quattro to others.

We received excellent service, the restaurant vibe was great. The ravoili was home made and very fresh. My husband ordered the Calzone, which was amazing also. The crust was crispy, and perfect. We will def return when we visit Boston again.

Food was great. Amazing prosciutto. It was delicious. Great bread. The olive and pesto dipping sauce was awesome. We had lasagna. It was good too. Drinks were yummy. Everything was good. A little loud and a little pricey but worth it.

Outstanding food and service! We were visiting from Hawaii and wanted to take our daughter and some of her friends to a nice dinner. Most places on Open Table will not reserve a party of 9 so I booked for 6 and asked if they could accommodate us. Michael (one of the Managers) called me back right away and said they could. He only asked me to confirm with my party since they have had “no-shows” (A totally reasonable request). We adjusted our reservation to make sure everyone could be on time and had a GREAT experience. Mahalo to Michael and the entire staff @ Quattro!
