Quarter Circle is a new seasonal restaurant with a bar and lounge located inside the Main Lodge at Flathead Lake Lodge in Bigfork, Montana. Open Wednesday-Saturday from December-March, this year's menu features Spanish-style tapas, beautiful salads and flavorful entrees, as well as a Spanish wine list and cocktails. Chef Rob Clagett is at the helm of the culinary experience and guests will find many locally sourced ingredients in his thoughtful dishes. Seated Bar offers our full menu. The lounge offers our tapas menu. Bar/Lounge are walk-in only.

As a former food critic in Arizona, a chef, and someone from Spain, I have a deep appreciation for culinary excellence. We’ve dined at Quarter Circle multiple times, hoping the food would match the outstanding service and inviting atmosphere. Unfortunately, it continues to fall short—especially at its price point, where near-perfection should be expected. We’ve sampled nearly every dish, and the only tapa that truly impressed was the goat cheese crostini, which pairs beautifully with a Spanish wine. The one standout entrée was the sablefish—absolutely exceptional. While the location and service are among the best in Bigfork, the food remains a disappointment. A real shame.

Lovely atmosphere and ambience. Interesting and tasty menu. Service was excellent except from our particular waitress. It was 17 minutes before she even came to our table. That’s a long time to wait. Not sure what that was about. Then she ordered the wrong wine opened at our table. It was smooth sailing after that with the help of all the other waiters. But that did make for a rocky start. We will definitely go back as it is well worth another try and I’m sure it will be better next time. Looking forward to it.

Excellent service, excellent food choice - lodge is the lodge and feels lodgeee. What make this high quality is the service and genuine care and concern by each of the staff. Will recommend - only disappointed it is only open foe a limited time frame.

If you love fine dining on the most beautiful Flathead Lake then Quarter Circle will not disappoint. From the warm welcoming fire in the fireplace to the host and staff, this was an amazing experience! Food preparation and presentation is excellent. Kelsey did a terrific job taking care of us and no small detail is overlooked. Highly recommend an evening at Quarter Circle! Enjoy!

Such a treat to dine at the Flathead Lake Lodge during the long winter season. Dining room is a place out of MT history. Had the crab bisque- a bit “too” thick and my serving was just warm. Smoked trout salad was excellent. Steelhead and roasted chicken were wonderful. Basque cheesecake was okay. Only one other dessert option. My French press coffee was lukewarm. Would have been nice to have more desserts options so we could linger a bit more. Only really complaint was our serve took forever to check on us to order cocktails and servings are small- bread service would have been nice. Hope the lodge repeats this every winter. Nice for us locals to enjoy the Lodge.

Absolutely an amazing dining experience. The staff was amazing. The food was amazing and even though we were a difficult couple to please, as far as our wine selection and tables, we wanted to sit that they were accommodating, happy and pleasant.
