Quarter Acre, a welcoming neighbourhood restaurant combined with an upscale dining experience, is inspired by Chef Toby Archibald’s world travels and New Zealand roots. When you enter Quarter Acre, you will be transported to a place of warmth and character. A journey from the earthy green musk of the New Zealand rainforest to the cool blue of the Pacific Ocean.

The Culinary Experience:
Enjoy food prepared using both classic and modern techniques with a strong influence placed on local and national, seasonal produce. At the same time, global ingredients will also have their place at the table, in particular items from Toby’s home country of New Zealand, such as fresh seafood and unique meats and flavours.

When dining with us, Quarter Acre accepts cash, debit, and credit card. A 3.4% convenience fee will be added to all payments made by credit card.

Purchasing details: 1 person = 1 package (serves up to 4). Maximum of 4 packages. Quarter Acre is offering two take-home options for the Thanksgiving holiday. Choose from either main course of Smoked Turkey Breast with Confit Turkey Leg with turkey gravy, or, Slow Cooked Leg of New Zealand Lamb with mint chimichurri. Each option serves four guests and includes: • 3 sides: Charred Carrots, Brussels Sprouts, & Pomme Dauphinoise. • Extras: Three-grain Sourdough Bread, New Zealand Butter, Cranberry Sauce, Fall Spiced Buns and Lolli Bag. Orders are accepted through November 16th with pick up on Wednesday, November 23rd, between 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Limited Availability.

Each course was amazing and they were well spaced out. We each had 2 small bites, 2 apps, 2 entrees and were very full. Service was quick and present but not rushed. One of the best meals we’ve had in DFW.

Tried this new-to-us restaurant for a special birthday celebration and we were not disappointed! At our waiter’s suggestion we had the Parmesan Agnolotti as a shared appetizer (it’s listed as entree). Delicious! The salmon was probably the best we’ve had. The desserts were inventive and yummy. And the service was excellent. We will be back!

I wish I never went there. Their ceviche was not good at all, I then ordered the salmon and it came with croutons that were harder than bricks. Their dessert was also hard. And not to talk about the bread basket, the two pieces of New Zealand bread and butter they gave us was extremely hard to eat. We had a clear view of the chef the whole time, not sure if they gave us bad food on purpose.

It’s not bad.. but for the price I wouldn’t say it was good either. The food was just ok, service excellent and the outside patio is cute. You did have the frequent whiffs of passerby smoking pot on Greenville.

Quarter Acre is such a wonderful and special place. We went for the first time to celebrate our two-year anniversary, and our minds were blown the entire time. The decor is gorgeous (props to the person who thought of oyster shell chandelier decorations), and the staff is AMAZING. Our waiter walked us through the menu and helped us figure out if we were were ordering a good balance of ingredients (too much lettuce? maybe pick a different extra). Every recommendation he gave us was spot on. And he was just a genuinely kind person (everyone we interacted with was). The food was SUPERB. Creativity off the charts (the crab eclair is genius). The snacks were so good we ordered a second round just so my husband and I could try what the other person ate. I was pregnant when we went, so some of the appetizers were off limits to me, but there were still plenty of choices for me to pick from (and I drooled over the smoked beef tartar my husband got). It was so hard to pick a main course as they all looked so good. We got the Parmesan Agnolotti and Hot-Smoked Glory Bay Salmon. SO GOOD. Seriously - if you're a cheese person, the parmesan agnolotti is the way to go. Highly recommend checking out their dessert menu. I would go back to Quarter Acre just for the Lemon Posset. I highly recommend Quarter Acre. A warm, welcoming atmosphere. Amazing staff. Out of this world food.
