Food is excellent but portions are very small, even for a sharing plates menu. The service was terrible. We were seated and no one came to service our table, 30 minutes later we managed to flag a waiter down to place our order. One of our dishes was forgotten and then we spent 20 minutes waiting for the bill. We were there for 2.5 hours, and spent most of it just waiting. 4 of us shared 1 bottle of wine over the first hour … we easily would have had a second if it had been offered, but in 2.5 hours no one bothered to ask. We had to flag the server down each time. Server seemed careless & uninterested in us being there. Food is great but not worth the £250 we spent.

Everything was outstanding, from the wine to the food to the crowd. Particular food favorites: white figs, manchego, and rocket appetizer; lamb shoulder entry; focaccia.

Quite expensive but we enjoyed it very much. The atmosphere was very cozy especially with the candles on the tables. There’s also outdoor seating if you like to enjoy the summer breezes. The salads were so good - the flavor combination is very sophisticated and it pairs very well with wine. The only thing is that the food is a tad pricy. We ordered a bottle of wine that is very very interesting. It tasted very mild we almost thought it’s not wine but it has 10%+ alcohol content!

As always Marcos was the consummate host, running front of house so well. And the food continues to be superlative... everything perfectly gauged and cooked. Very lucky to have this as a local, but definitely worth a trip.
