The food here remains some of the best cooking in town and, with their lunch menu, some of the best value in town too. Strong recommend, always.

The wine was nice, the food was ok but to be honest that burrata doesn't qualify as a burrata (was hard and squishy) and the main dishes were over salted and still not particularly striking in flavour

This was sold in open table as an experience with wine pairing by the Alsace wine maker Rietsch. The “5 courses “ consisted of maison baguette ( 8 small circles of bread ) with a very nice salted butter; onion tart and alsacienne salad ; chicken au Riesling with spätzle, and a mini tart with crème fraiche . There was no pairing, we had to choose from the list of Rietsch wines given. We ordered 2 bottles, 1 grand cru and 1 that aged in barrel . To be honest the food was good, the portions were ridiculously small, apart from the chicken, but, instead of bringing individual dishes, on 3 occasions we had to share whatever was in the single dish that was brought to us; the 8 small round pieces of baguette were in the same plate, each measuring 2 cm max; the salad was in one single plate to be shared between the 2 of us and so was the chicken and the spätzle . It felt a bit like what was advertised was incredibly different from what was described. The producer was never seen at our table, there was no talk or any information given by the producer to anyone present, apart from his friends or acquaintances that were the only ones who were taking to the producer. The whole experience was supposed to be a birthday treat. It was anything but that. Which is a shame.

Excellent evening. Great recommendations from Emilio and the team. Always impressed by the range and breadth of the carta del vino. Culatello and focaccia were fabulous.
