Quality Foods Market offers a unique culinary experience, featuring authentic Italian cuisine, in a relaxed, elevated casual, and intimate atmosphere. Enjoy a seasonally changing, from scratch menu, featuring both classic and modern pastas; hand cut steaks from USDA Certified Premium Hereford Heritage 1881 Beef; New Zealand Lamb Chops; USDA Certified Prime Veal; and the freshest seafood available, flown in from around the world throughout the week. In addition, Quality Foods Market offers a curated wine list with selections from all over the world, and an unrivaled craft and imported beer selection. Executive Chef Christopher Houp takes the time to interact with each and every guest throughout the dining experience, taking the Chef's Table concept to a whole new level. Tables are limited, with just 16 seats inside, and an additional 16 seats for al fresco dining. Our guests are treated to a true Italian dining experience, as we allow a minimum of three hours between reservations.

Another amazing meal from Chef Chris and team. The prosciutto wrapped mozzarella baked in red sauce was so good we ordered another one. First time having the homemade Italian sausage pasta and it did not disappoint. The flavors were amazing. We were too full for dessert but can never leave without an espresso. I always love the espresso in Florence when visiting, and this it the only place I've found that has espresso as good as that. We can't wait for our next visit!

Dining at Quality Foods Market is always a memorable experience. I saw a review where someone said the food was pricey and I guess that's really a matter of opinion. For me, I don't care about cost. I care about quality and to some degree portion size, and Chef Chris delivers on both in a huge way. Chef Chris puts so much passion, energy, and effort into his menu, wine selections, and food preparation, I have not found a better restaurant, nor a better value, anywhere.

It is always a pleasure to visit with Chef Chris in his cozy four table restaurant/deli/wine and beer boutique experience modeled after a tiny place you would stumble upon in Italy. It is like going to a private home and enjoying a home cooked meal. Always a great experience. Pricey but so enjoyable. It is not like going to an “italian restaurant.” Much more of a unique one-of-a-kind experience. Everything is perfection. The menu changes based on what is fresh and available so the posted menus are just a sample of possibilities.

It is apparent that the Chef makes his food with love, and the ambience almost transports you to a small family restaurant in Italy. A true hidden gem.

We had the both versions of the Veal Chop. The best veal chop I have ever had and melted in my mouth. Chef Chris never disappoints. Chef Chris always visits every table to explain anything before ordering, to make sure the food is done to your liking when served, and checks how the meal was. Chef Chris is one of the best chef's in the world. Do yourself a favor and have a meal at Quality Foods! Thank you for a wonderful Father's Day meal!

This is actually what good food and service is Tampa Bay. High quality lovingly crafted Italian foods with ingredients imported fresh from Italy. Absolutely delicious and flavourful home made pastas, would highly recommend the pesto and salsiccia but everything we've had every time we've been has been spot on. The service is impeccable and personal with very attentive staff and the chef owner around to advise on what you're eating.

An A+ meal from start to finish. We had baby artichokes and pancetta wrapped scallops as appetizers. The scallops were huge, tender, and cooked perfectly. My wife and I have never had better. The artichokes were just as good. We'd had the lamb chops before and knew how good they were, so this time we opted for the ribeye with truffle butter. Holy Moly was that the BEST steak I've ever had. Chef Chris had talked up the beef and even with all that it was better than expected. It was the perfect medium rare and it cut like butter and had the divine smell of truffle. One bite and we were both hooked. Tender and juicy and with a big beefy flavor. It was one of those steaks that wowed me and was worth the money. I haven't had a steak do both in a long time.

There is no place like Quality Foods Market. The freshest ingredients and imports, and a chef who comes to every table and talks with everyone about his food and experiences in Italy. The wine and imported beer selection is the the best anywhere. I highly recommend for anyone looking for an authentic Italian meal of the highest quality. Kudos to Chef Chris for bringing something so unique and special to our area.

Quality Foods, the name says all you need know. It doesn't spell out that it's Italian, but whatever you have is likely going to be some of the best of whatever dish you ordered. The porterhouse experience is unlike anything I've ever seen or tasted. It's shareable and well worth the expense. I've had the dish in Tuscany twice, and I swear this was better.
