Q'tal is a Multicultural restaurant serving a mix of New American dishes with Brazilian and Italian influence in Kearny NJ. We offer a complete experience from beginning to end in our dining room, bar, and cozy back patio.
Behind our glass kitchen is Executive Chef, Edney Moreira, who takes pride in creating our unique menu and ensuring dishes are always fresh, as well as incorporating handmade ingredients such as our bread and pasta. We also have signature cocktails with a focus on beautiful and fresh ingredients, selected wine list and beer list.

Food presentation was beautiful except they lacked any customer service skills. We waited half hour for water and our first drinks. Appetizers took another 45 mins and same wait on dinner, when we had to put appetizers and dinner orders all at once. One of our entrees didn’t come and no one explained, a few mins later someone comes by to ask if everything is ok and we informed them we are missing one entree and they inform us they will have to out it in bc the table next to us “took” our entree. We cancelled that entree, shared our food, entree was brought later on and manager asked how can she make it up, friend requested round of drinks and the drinks came right when we were going to leave! We had to ask twice about the status. You would think that since manager put in the order for a round of drinks, they would bring them out immediately, but no, we waited another half hour. When the bill came, we were being charged for the drinks and the salmon, we informed the waiter and he then took off the one round of drinks and salmon entrée, but terrible experience overall. Food was very well presented, but the mashes tasted like they were out of a box.Drinks very tasty. Most likely will not be coming back or recommending.

Qtal it’s the best Brazilian restaurant in New Jersey for sure our family to eat at Qtal. Thank you for the great service as well. In the chef. It’s one of the best !

Food is excellent!!! Feijoada is delicious, it serves 2 adults and 1 kid. Service is great. It was a Saturday lunch time and not lot of customers

Had a great time there for Mother’s Day. They had an exquisite menu. The food and drinks were on point. Esthetic was definitely a 9! Everyone was so friendly.

The staff is very friendly, accommodating and attentive…the service is great. Most of all, the food is outstanding and the beautiful cocktails are very tasty! The octopus is the best I’ve had and the reviews from my fellow diners on the short ribs and sirloin steak are stellar. I highly recommend dining here.
