Q1227 Restaurant is trailblazing a new genre we're calling California Comfort Food. Our entrees are designed from California's freshest ingredients, embodied with bold, succulent flavors. Chef Q embraced his native Florida roots and have created dishes that are wrapped in California's fresh fruit and vegetables. Some house favorites are our Q1227 Chicken Fried Lobster Bites, our Roasted Vegetable Flatbread, our phenomenal Grilled Seafood Platter and finishing the night off with our Bourbon Street Bread Pudding.

Great customer service, our server Miles was great and very attentive. The food was amazing. Q1227 is great for any occasion.

Love the food, the service & the atmosphere. It was nice, classy and elegant. That’s exactly how I wanted to spend my 41st birthday. In something nice elegant & most of all black owned. A ten out of ten… Will be returning back to taste more dishes & deserts. Chef Q did come by our table to welcome us to his restaurant him & his wife. Plus to wish me a happy birthday. Very much grateful

Four of us enjoyed our first visit to Q1227 for dinner at the Roseville Galleria Mall. The location is lovely and the waitstaff excellent. It should be noted that at the time of our visit the only adult beverages served was either white or red wine. The food was tasty. We enjoyed our entries and desserts especially. The live music was so loud it made conversation challenging. I get it, people appreciate a more “party” vibe than I do. Dinner for four which included 3 appetizers, a side dish, bottle of wine, and 2 desserts plus tax and tip was $600. Whew! That is expensive for Roseville. We want to go back for lunch to try a couple different menu items that sound delicious in hopefully a quiet environment. All in all I think Q1227 is worth a try.

Outstanding! Excellent flavors, presentation, service and ambiance. We were able to get a table that was flanked by curtains and it made my wife’s birthday dinner feel more secluded and intimate. It’s great to see the owner, Chef Q, is still present and running the kitchen. After only 2 weeks open at a new location we expected some hiccups, but the dinner and service was precise all the way through.

Really bummed to know there was no beer or wine until after our guests were seated. They did offer house wine but by the bottle only at $60. Wish we would’ve known ahead of time. We would’ve just came at a later date. Unfortunately not an enjoyable experience like usual.

The fact that the 18% is already included and the service at best was mediocre is ridiculous. Our soda drinks never got refilled. Im not sure if its the restaurants steps of service for the silverware to get to the table minutes after the food got to the table but i don’t believe thats a good idea. And if its not then that also says something about the poor service we received. Our appetizer got to our table before our soda drinks and silverware. All the food was not brought out at once, it took 1 person 2 trips for our food. As soon as the food touches our table the server came to ask if everything tasted good, mind you we haven't gotten our silverware yet to be able to taste it. And after that we didn't see the server again until my boyfriend had already finished his meal, the busser had taken his plate away and i was almost done with mine to ask if we wanted dessert. He proceeded to take our plates away, we had 3 plates on the table, the spinach plate/the mac n cheese plate/my entree plate, he took only 2 plates first didn't even clear the table completely before bringing a dessert menu. Its honestly disappointing that a new restaurant we were excited to try and celebrate a birthday gave such a bad taste. A $200 meal that was 100% not worth it. The only good service we received was by the host. I understand its a new restaurant and i never do reviews like this but this was extremely disappointing. Other restaurants where the food isn't the best at least they make up for it in the service. The only person who was worthy of my 18% was the busser.
