Great food, good drinks and an inviting atmosphere. It is loud at times. The open kitchen concept is great. Service is very good. Staff very attentive and casual.

We really enjoyed the experience. The ambience was beautiful. We had a reservation in the bar. The serving staff was attentive. We definitely would return.

The food was terrific, and our server was fantastic. Our only complaint was that everything seemed to take a long time to come to the table, also between servings and even to pay at the end. We will be back; we loved everything else. Hopefully, they can speed it up a little.

One of the best overall meals I’ve enjoyed in Phoenix. Great vibe, excellent service, everyone worked as a team. Kyle was an outstanding server as well. There was not a single item that we ordered in which we did not like.

Girlfriends and I went here for our last night of vacation. The ambiance and decor is excellent but that’s about it. The food was mediocre at best. After being told that the hearth can take awhile to cook our steaks, we waited over 60 minutes and they never came. The sides were delivered well before and we got filled up on those that when we pointed out that our steaks never came, we just wanted to leave. Nothing was given to us except an apology. Once I said something they removed our mocktails. We came for a steak dinner and instead paid $250 to eat a couple apps and cold sides. I think the worst part was that nothing was going to be removed from our bill unless I said something and no manager ever came by to apologize. I did see him at other tables with men present and I can’t help but wonder if we would have been treated differently considering what happened if we were there with our husbands.

We decided to treat ourselves during our honeymoon and book a reservation for this place. Form the beautifully designed decor, to the friendly and attentive staff, we were so happy we chose this place. Their food is absolutely delicious, and I am by fault a very picky person with food. I loved everything I ate; the tartare, the short rib skewers, the salmon and tuna rolls and the spicy noodles. Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area who loves a classy vibe and Japanese food.

OK first time and Loved the look in a supper crowded spot with parking and the Ambassador hotel. I love 44 so know the area and also dined at the french for Ambassador. Will go again if we can have a booth was a little disappointed wanted the Ham was not there and then went for lamb also out. I got the chicken moist and tender. My husband did burger because he said if they mess that up no use to return. Was taste and frys great must be the oven thats their great rave I think
