An Award Winning Restaurant; Pushkar is a gourmet Indian restaurant that has generated significant buzz and rave reviews from Brummie foodies. Part fine dining room, part cocktail lounge, the space is a cream and lemon affair with starched linens and a cosmopolitan vibe. Perfect for cocktails and platter-sharing. The food was very ordinary with lots of garlic and chilli but little interesting spiciness. The draft lager tasted watered down. The pre drink cocktails were fine but expensive.

Food was good . But nans I ordered with my main was a bit hard to bite. Apart from that we enjoyed the meal.

Food excellent and the service was very good as it was very busy. We did find the the ambient sound level rather high. Not good for oldies like us. But the food was excellent.

Top class service: our server was attentive, charismatic, knowledgeable and friendly. It was my fathers birthday and they brought out a card and cake which was a lovely touch. Food is fantastic in respect of both veggie, meat and fish options - just be wary that when you ask for spicy it will be spicy! Overall, had a wonderful experience and would certainly recommend to anyone!

We had dined here before and thoroughly enjoyed the food, the service and the experience. We recommended to friends, who were visiting from Wales, that we ate here (having such a wonderful experience in the past). We were very disappointed. We had to wait 20 mins for our table, which we had booked. We were well looked after by the bar staff. When our food arrived, the waiter just put in all in the middle of the table and did not explain which dishes were which. We were not asked if we needed drinks and had to keep asking staff as they walked passed. We felt rushed and as though we were in the way. As my husband and I had recommended we eat here, we were embarrassed by the way we had been treated. I would hope that this was just a glitch in service as we really did enjoy our visit visit but are mot sure we will be revisiting or recommending this restaurant again.
