Purple Café and Wine Bar pairs a global wine selection with a menu that combines classic American styles with seasonal Northwest ingredients.

We feature an expansive menu ranging from artisan cheeses, starters, soups, salads, sandwiches and pizzas to pasta and seafood. We take a great deal of pride in utilizing the most fresh and local ingredients.

On the wine side of things our wine list features over 80 glass and 600 bottle selections. Over the years our wine program has been recognized with various accolades that include an "Award of Ultimate Distinction" from Wine Enthusiast Magazine and being named "Best Wine Bar" by Evening Magazine's Best of Western Washington Viewers Poll.

We waited over an hour for our Lunch to arrive. One dish was completely forgotten. The food was underwhelming, except for the pork chop. Our server war very nice - the best part of Lunch. It was also ice cold in the restaurant.

Food and service was excellent. Price was on par with a downtown restaurant. Portions were good. Only complaint was that the dining room. Was so dark we could see the menu.

Wonderful service The food quality has really diminished over time. Trying to hold the line in prices has left many of the offerings created with substandard ingredients and the flavor is off. The first dessert on the menu was unavailable at 7 in the evening. The second was overpowered with too much ginger. Strong Mint was substituted for basil in the pesto. None of our three entrees were enjoyed even the wine suggestion was excellent. Salad tastes like it came out of an old bag.

I made a reservation for Saturday night to celebrate my dad's birthday. Food was great and our server was very friendly, however, the quality of service and attention to detail was quite disapppointing. We had to ask twice for a refill of my dad's cocktail (they forgot to put in order the first time), we were almost done with dinner before we could get their attention to ask for a condiment, and at the end of dinner, I asked for coffee - server clarified my request and even asked if I wanted cream or sugar to which I politely replied with "just black please." Well, I never got the coffee. To top it all off, my card was automatically charged with 20% for gratuity while I was in the restroom. Again, very nice and friendly staff, but underwhelming service.

Cool vibe with the tower of wine in the center; tables well spaced. Service was good, attentive without being hovering. Food was outstanding -- probably some of the best baked brie I've ever had. Will definitely come back!
