What Puro Gusto is? Simple, a chance to discover the Italian culinary tradition with homemade pasta, local fresh seafood and Italian crued hams.
Poducts in our dishes are freshly imported from Italy to ensure an authentic experience.
Grew up in a small village next to Florence, Tuscany, the owner and head-chef Erikselda, prepared a menu with her favourite dishes wishing to share the flavours she loves the most.
You will have the opportunity to travel the italian flavours just a few minutes from home!

1st time there. Best Italian I have found in Bournemouth. Lovely service. Food wonderful. We’ll be going back often!

Our second visit and again very impressed, the homemade pasta is top class, the service great as was the total experience. We recommend it 100%

A very friendly team providing us with excellent service throughout our visit. Specials were shared with us, and we took them up on the soup, it was delicious (cauliflower and truffle oil). Our main meals were excellent and mine was prepared next to us in the cheese wheel. This started off a following for the remainder of the afternoon with others wanting the same. Dessert was also lovely, but by this time I could not manage one to myself, so shared their special with my husband. Toilets were also very clean. Looking forward to coming back.

Fabulous food and fabulous service. Superb wine, the staff were super friendly. I’d definitely recommend this restaurant.

Lovely restaurant with great staff who are keen to explain about the food on the menu. And the food is delicious!!! Had such a brilliant evening!

What an eating experience all the food is prepared by the owner and chief. The pasta is to die for not mass produced and the flavour and texture is what home made is about. If you want authentic Italian food this is the place. Every one makes you most welcome.

A real little gem! The food was really good, everything was home made and delicious. The four of us enjoyed all we selected. Even the olive oil to dip the bread in was from the owners family olive grove near Florence. The decor was simple which may be why it wasn’t fully booked. Just go in and try the food. Will definitely go again if back in Bournemouth.
