What Puro Gusto is? Simple, a chance to discover the Italian culinary tradition with homemade pasta, local fresh seafood and Italian crued hams.
Poducts in our dishes are freshly imported from Italy to ensure an authentic experience.
Grew up in a small village next to Florence, Tuscany, the owner and head-chef Erikselda, prepared a menu with her favourite dishes wishing to share the flavours she loves the most.
You will have the opportunity to travel the italian flavours just a few minutes from home!

We eat out in the Bournemouth area up to 3 times per week and this was our first visit to Puro Gusto which I think opened just over a year ago. Without doubt it is by far the best Italian food in the area, cooked superbly by the Italian chef/owner. The food was simply excellent, as was the very friendly and welcoming service by the front of house staff. While it didn’t spoil the evening, the only negative was the restaurant interior. It just isn’t Italian. It could do with some appropriate pictures on the walls and other Italian artifacts to improve the feel and general ambience. The owner is missing a trick. He already has fantastic food and service and now just needs to invest in the place.

The food was unbelievably good… really special! And the service was wonderful…knowledgable and friendly. The chef is passionate about the food she’s producing and it shows! This is a new restaurant and the focus is on the food at the moment, so the decor doesn’t yet match the standard of food and service, but ‘don’t judge a book by it’s cover’. This was the best meal we’ve had in a very long time.

A truly authentic Italian experience with homemade pasta! The four of us thoroughly enjoyed. The chef even came to check with us as one of our party had a nut allergy.

1st time there. Best Italian I have found in Bournemouth. Lovely service. Food wonderful. We’ll be going back often!

A very friendly team providing us with excellent service throughout our visit. Specials were shared with us, and we took them up on the soup, it was delicious (cauliflower and truffle oil). Our main meals were excellent and mine was prepared next to us in the cheese wheel. This started off a following for the remainder of the afternoon with others wanting the same. Dessert was also lovely, but by this time I could not manage one to myself, so shared their special with my husband. Toilets were also very clean. Looking forward to coming back.
