   Had a poor experience. I was surprised to learn they were a Michelin Star restaurant . Our starters came out cold - the kebabs and lamb chops were of poor quality and taste. Prawns / paneer were good. Expected the meat to be replaced with fresh pieces. Same pieces were reheated - it was poor all round. Can’t recommend. Only thing good was our waiter who tried his best to make the situation better but was let down by back of house and management. We left after starters.

   Went early Saturday evening (6.30pm) Sat inside, but the weather was excellent so outside would have been nice. Opened with the Papad platter (poppadoms and pickles to us from the UK} 8 pickles and a variety of papad. They then brought out (for free) amuse-bouche of an onion description, very nice. Then we had Punjabi Samosa to share. Again, very nice. Main courses chicken tikka sampler and mangalorean chicken ghassi. I had a sauce, Makhani 2 white rice and 2 garlic Naans. Only needed one rice between the two of us. Overall, very very tasty and we will be back.

   Excellent great food and service. Shilpa was excellent and very attentive and took good care of us.

   The food and service were excellent. The poppadom starter with all the dips was the best ever.

   You should expect a restaurant being located in the Ritz Carlton Village to be first class rated and the Punjab Grill lived upto all our expectations Internal and external dining options Extensive menu Knowledgeable Staff Excellent service Our waiter, Prasab, provided expert advice on both starter and main course selections Our food choice proved to be great especially when accompanied with a bottle of Rioja Tempranillo Reserva Well worth the visit and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for a good Indian Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

   We did one of the set menus. Pretty good value but just the right amount of food. Very few restaurants appear to have survived in the Venetian Village, which is a shame, but PG is obviously doing something right.
