From renowned restaurateurs, Jen and Josh Ziskin, Punch Bowl is inspired by the historic 18th century tavern that Brookline was once famous for. The Ziskins have rekindled the spirit of the Punch Bowl and have recreated a communal gathering place in the heart of the village. Chef Josh Ziskin prepares cuisine that features his contemporary take on traditional New England fare and focuses on a variety of local farms and seafood. Punch Bowl has a slew of signature cocktails influenced by Brookline’s unique history and vibrant location. Enjoy Jen’s all female wine list inspired by the female Inn Keepers of the late 1700’s. Guests feel immersed in the city while seated in the light-filled dining room featuring floor to ceiling windows, an open kitchen and a state-of-the-art bar. For guests who would prefer to dine outdoors, Punch Bowl also offers a large patio area on the ground floor as well as a roof deck terrace with phenomenal views of Brookline and its’ historic Muddy River.

Punch Bowl. Having eaten there many times over the past few years, every time my wife & I stay at the Hikton Garden Inn, I can earnestly state that the food is great, the service is exceptional (look for Billy at the bar--he's the best!) and the atmosphere is very "city." Enjoy!

We’re locals that were seeking a nice place to eat close by. We were not disappointed!! We were seated by a familiar face and were so glad that we made the leap - thanks Ace Atmosphere: contemporary lux. Menu: Pub grub but with a chef’s hand. Service: Fun! But then we were served by Ireland’s future premier doctor. If you don’t mind the sound of a kitchen - sit towards the back, want a little more quiet sit towards the front. Just go, both the steak and the Hake were very good and prepared to perfection

The special event--an Argentinian outdoor "asado" barbecue--was well planned and executed. Food, service, and special wine servings were all superb!

Excellent food, outdoor patio with lawn games were fun for the kids, no cappuccino/espresso machine which was a bit disappointing but good service and friendly staff.

We have dined at the Punch Bowl each of the many times we have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Brookline, MA. The food is terrific, and the service is outstanding. Special salute to our bartender, Billy.

Good food, good price, lovely ambience. Service was warm and friendly, just a little hard to figure out how to “check in,” as there is not always someone at the host stand.

We went here for restaurant week/dine out Boston. It was two couples and we all came to the same conclusion just was subpar. The “nachos” was just a small open faced torta. The salad was over dressed for a Caesar salad but was tasty. My steak was actually cooked the way I asked but my friends was unevenly cooked. It’s funny because he ordered his first and I said “the same thing please”. The butterscotch pudding dessert had NO FLAVOR. When we ordered drinks they came in one at a time. The drinks were decent. They need more staff that actually knows how to attend a table. We had missing silverware more than twice that and to be asked for. Definitely never coming back here.

Hi Stewart, Unfortunately we had some unforeseen staffing issues yesterday which resulted in some people who lacked sufficient training to need to take tables. We normally would not offer an excuse such as this, but it was an "off" day for us, and for that I sincerely apologize. It is always the goal for every one of our guests to leave satisfied with both the food and service and will take your notes into consideration going forward.
