    Our experience at Puffin rooms was on point. The first cigar lounge we have been to and definitely will be back again. Highly recommend this place. The bartender and Joe were really helpful and had made our experience top tier.

    The music was a little too loud. You have one performer who understands how to play a small venue like the Puffin Rooms and she is marvelous. The others, not so much.

    We did not eat at the Puffin Rooms although that was originally our intention. When we arrived we could hear extremely loud live music. The young man who met us at the Bar was very snippy when I politely asked if it was possible for us to have a quiet table. He could only offer a quieter table in the Cigar Lounge, which would not have been pleasant when eating. We were then shown into the eating area, which was a small, intimate space, The singer and musician playing were very talented, but the music just so loud we could not speak to each other, so we decided to leave. I am not sure if the music is always this loud. The eating area is very small, so the musicians could have performed without amplification of any kind. Had we just gone for drinks we would probably have enjoyed it there. Before leaving I spoke to a young girl behind the bar, apologised profusely and explained we were leaving as we wanted to have a quieter meal, she was very polite and understanding. As we were leaving the young man reappeared and made sarcastic comments, he obviously thought we were storming out in a huff, which we were not. I do not appreciate this kind of behaviour as we had not been rude or offensive. This venue is small, intimate and stylish. The food menu looks amazing and, I am sure, if the music had not been quite so loud we would have had a wonderful evening, it just wasn’t suitable for us on this occasion.

    As always, very professional and courteous service, great ambience and the food was outstanding. All in all another fantastic night.

    Amazing drinks, music, and atmosphere. Staff could not have done more to make our evening more special.

    We only went for drinks so can't comment on the food but the atmosphere is wonderful. The service top notch and the drink selection unparalleled. Staff were super knowledgeable and attentive but also left you to enjoy and didn't hover. Live jazz duo (piano and singer) were outstanding. It felt more like being at an intimate house party than a bar. It was a great spot to have a night cap or two. There were others there eating and food looked lovely.

    We didn’t eat, so I cannot rate the food . The ambience was perfect. Light jazz set the mood and the low-lighting really helped in slowing everything down. Our server, Amy was attentive, knowledgeable and checked in on us at perfect intervals. This was our 1st time visiting the Puffin’ Rooms and we have already agreed to make it a monthly event. There is nowhere else like this in Liverpool. My only sticking point is that cigar prices are hiked up by an extra £5 or so just for the privilege of smoking it on the premises! We were not expecting this.

    Amazing food, service and surroundings. One of the best places I’ve eaten in Liverpool especially considering the cost. Fabulous. We will definitely be back.
