Puffin rooms Is a very special place, the staff and the service you get in there is phenomenal! Been about 10 times now, and they have delivered 5 star service every time. It’s been come a ‘must do’ for me and my dad, as we like a cigar and we don’t see each other as much as we’d like, but when he comes to Liverpool we always make sure we book the puffin rooms for a visit for a smoke and catch up.

Not enough staff on for a bank holiday Sunday. Too long to get served on a shorter hours closure.

Excellent food and service. Only comment is that we were slightly rushed and didn’t have time for a desert at the table. The 2 hour time slots aren’t really long enough unless the food arrives a bit quicker.

We booked the Puffin rooms for a birthday treat with a Whisky tasting experience. This was something really different and we were led by Harry who was amazing and made the experience really interesting for us. We got to try Whisky’s from Japan to the Lake District and had some food inbetween. Puffin rooms is such a lovely place and to have the Jazz music on a Sunday really made the day even more special. Victoria took requests and sang to my son. Cocktails are amazing too as is the food. If you want something special and get looked after by the lovely team get it booked. We loved it. Thanks everyone :)

I had a great solo trip to puffins, my only disappointment was that I was unable to eat a full meal at the bar. It would be good, if when booking a table for at the bar, that it’s mentioned you can only have the small plates menu. Other than that, I couldn’t fault it and will be back for sure!

Server didn’t know the wines or what the sauce was like for one of the dishes we enquired about. He didn’t bring over the complimentary snack on arrival we had to ask twice for them. He didn’t give us a wine cooler for our bottle of time and he didn’t tell us the restaurant was a la carte so we didn’t know to order sides until the food came. Food was ok but goats cheese was too sweet and needed bread or crackers with it

We were given a warm welcome and enjoyed excellent service from a very attentive young man named ‘Sonny ‘ Both our meals were perfectly cooked and presented and tasted scrumptious. The evening entertainment was very much enjoyed , unfortunately we only had time for the first session as we had to leave due to OAV ( old age virus) The Puffin rooms are a ‘must’ for us each time we visit my home city from bonnie Scotland . Thank you to one and all xx
