Fondé dans les années 50, les gens se rassemblent au Puckett's depuis plus d'un demi-siècle. Le restaurant a été mis au goût du jour, des recettes familiales ont été ajoutées et de la musique live est présentée. Mais il s'agit toujours du Puckett's Grocery : sans prétention, mais délicieux.                                                                         Douglas took great care of everything for our family group of four. His excellent service was matched by the excellent food which included Shrimp and Grits, Chicken Salad, Smoked Meatloaf and a barbecue sandwich. Eating at Puckett’s was a perfect way to top off a Christmas concert at the Ryman.

                                                                        Made a reservation for Saturday morning at 10:30 based on the fact we figured it would be busy. It wasn’t busy at all but for some reason it took almost 10 minutes for our server to greet us after we were seated. The food was “ok” at best. Our server never came back to refill our drinks (coffee and water) or to see if everything came out ok since he wasn’t the person that served it. He had to be flagged down to get something additional. He was very pleasant and nice just not sure what was happening since he only appeared to have one other table. Hoping they were just having an off day but our food nor service lived up to the hype we heard.

                                                                        We went to Puckett’s for the live music with a 7:00 pm reservation. Unfortunately, the only song we heard was a sound check to I’ve Got a Girl Crush melody with revised lyrics about a sound check. Food was good. Service was excellent.

                                                                        Over all OK, but not as good as I expected based on reviews. Although they are known for BBQ, it was not that good. Chicken tasted good but dry. Turkey and brisket was not good. Pulled pork was OK. I would put it below avg for BBQ. Collard greens were bitter. Beans were good. Was not cheap but what I expected being close to Broadway. Server was very nice but service slow - obviously under staffed.

                                                                        We were during the last hour of service so some of our food was just warm at best. Also all but one of the desserts were gone. Our server was wonderful just got the feeling we were getting the scraps left from the day.

                                                                        This was the first time having Thanksgiving at a restaurant. I loved the family style feel of it, and the food was great, the best part, no cooking or clean up! It was very busy and the food definitely could have been a bit hotter, but you cant beat the price for an all you can eat sit down buffet.
