The Puckett’s roots go way back to the 1950s, and a little grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Ever since then, we’ve been focused on providing friends new and old with great food and Southern hospitality. When it comes down to it, Puckett’s is a community kitchen, with live pickin’ performances just a few feet from your table. Went to the pickets in Franklin and it was the best chicken I’ve ever had..brought out parent to the one in Murfreesboro last night.. over cooked all 4 chickens to the point of almost inedible.. completely disappointed!! Music and service was great..

We got there and knew there was a stage but did not know there would be a band. We ordered in and walked the band. The band appeared to be a bunch of amateurs. The person doing their soundboard needed a lesson in how to adjust the reverb and the gain as it was extremely high and it made everything sound twangy. It was also extremely loud to the point we could not talk amongst ourselves across the table and had resort to texting each other. In top of that our food took an hour to get to us and when we got it, it was apparent that it had been sitting in the window for quite some time. My mashed potatoes were cold, broccoli had no seasoning, but the meatloaf was fine. My daughter’s chicken strips were very over cooked and inedible. We will not be going back to this establishment. We have been there multiple times before and was always a good experience. But last night we would have been better off eating from a food truck that was set up around the square for a music event they were having than to have eaten there.

I got the chicken tenders and they were chewy and the fries were not even warm. Also the entire time the AC unit was dripping on us and nothing was done about it after they were informed.

Meatloaf was not edible, brown gravy was cold. White gravy with fried chicken was like breakfast gravy.Disappointing.
