The Puckett’s roots go way back to the 1950s, and a little grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Ever since then, we’ve been focused on providing friends new and old with great food and Southern hospitality. When it comes down to it, Puckett’s is a community kitchen, with live pickin’ performances just a few feet from your table. Authentic comfort food—barbecue smoked slow ‘n’ low over cherry wood, the home-cooked sides, even a few upscale dishes—is what Puckett’s aims for you to remember! Once again, we kept hoping for better on the breakfast service. Once again, a table of 14 ahead of us pretty much shut everything else down while kitchen tried to get them served. Took over 45 minutes to get our food after ordering. My brisket hash was lukewarm. Servers were super nice and accommodating. It’s the kitchen that is still TOO SLOW. The restaurant wasn’t even half full.

We have been to Puckett's several times and had a family event there and we were expecting that same great food. Unfortunately, the food was not up to the usual standard. We had a 3:30 PM seating, they were out of items (meatloaf), soups, sides, and desserts arrived cold and had to be returned. The server did not clear the table before bringing the next course, we did it by passing everything down the table. Just not the greatest experience and the food was not to the usual standard.

Well, we did their all you can eat Thanksgiving dinner today. First our server was completely scattered, had to ask for plates, had to ask multiple times for napkins, to go boxes. The food was cold, like out of the refrigerator cold. The restaurant was freezing, everybody around kept their jackets on. We will NOT to do this again..

Had Thanksgiving lunch reservations. Thankful they spent their Thanksgiving holiday serving others. When arriving we were seated quickly but the table was not completely clean. The food tasted good but would had been nice if it was hot. The server appeared to have a lot of tables to take care of so we weren’t really concerned about her not offering refills. It was kind of pricey but overall we were happy with our visit. Thank you!

We decided to try Thanksgiving dinner out this year and we like Puckett’s so we figured we would try it. Very busy which we were happy to see. We were seated right away and enjoyed a delicious meal. Salads were excellent and too big to eat! Meats included meat loaf, pulled pork, and of course turkey. With all the expected sides such sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, corn bread stuffing. We took leftovers home, along with pumpkin and pecan pie and apple cobbler. We were really happy with the experience, everyone was wonderful and we will do this again!

All good though a tad bit pricey. Food was excellent. Sad they did not let us eat our dessert there. Cost was $40/person (included drink) plus tax and tip. Great ambiance. Friendly server.
