Puckett’s has a long history dating back to the 1950s when it started as a small grocery store in Leiper’s Fork, Tenn. Since then, our focus has been on offering excellent food and Southern hospitality to both new and longtime friends. With six restaurants now, our commitment to this goal remains unwavering. Puckett’s is renowned for featuring live, local music and serving beloved Southern dishes such as meat-and-three options and our famous slow-smoked BBQ in a relaxed, homely setting. Service was very slow we were told you were understaffed, but it took way too long for everything.

The best part was the live music Dave Eisenberg trio were good! The food was only average Service was not good…and it was not a busy night. Very disappointed in the food.

Service was slow and as others have noted, the staff seemed kind of inconvenienced and annoyed to have customers coming in and asking for food. We came in for brunch, and they were out of roughly half the breakfast menu. No Apple Jack pancakes, no hash brown casserole, no home fries. We asked about being able to just order from the lunch menu ten minutes early since they were out of so many things, but were discouraged from doing that. Ok, fine. We finally ordered breakfast items, waited over 45 minutes for our food, and when it came out, they announced they were also out of biscuits, which two of the people at the table had ordered with their meals. Ten minutes later, they brought a single plate of toast…I guess for us to share? My son’s pancakes had obviously been left under a heating lamp for 30+ minutes because the top layer of the top pancake was roughly the texture of rubber. The food we did receive, which was not really the food we ordered or the food we wanted, was not terrible, I guess, but that’s the best I can say about it. Definitely not great. About 30 minutes after leaving, everyone that had eaten eggs ended up getting sick, which is normally not something I would put in a review, but I think it’s notable because I have seen it mentioned in several other reviews for this restaurant. Definitely not a place we will be returning to.

The food was very good. Very poor amount of time for the food to be served. We waiting for close to 40 minutes after ordering. Apparently not enough kitchen staff.

We had a wonderful lunch with family from out of state. The food was great and the service was excellent.

They did not appear to be very busy. Our server was also the bartender so he was spread thin. Ordering and drinks were fast and efficient. Took too long to get our food. I got the combo plate. My food was cold. The sides were good, even cold the pork and sausage were good, however the brisket was like eating shoe leather, even the fat was hard!! We never had anyone check on us through the entire meal. The bartender came after we were finished and I shared my leather brisket situation. He apologized of coarse, what else could he do. He did try to soften the disappointment by not charging us for the dessert which was also cold. Pucketts is not on my repeat list.

Food tasted fine and was well presented but could have been hotter. Our serve was great until the end when we were ready to go and we had to wait longer than we should have.

I would likely not return. I was really disappointed. The bbq was tough and fatty with zero flavor. I get better bq from a local food truck. The cole slaw had zero flavor as well as the sweet potatoes fries. The fried brownie was amazing though as well as the service.

Meatloaf was just ok. I ordered chicken fried chicken and got chicken fried steak, waiter forgot the mashed potatoes. Mac and cheese was good. Overhead music was a little loud, so it was hard to carry on a conversation. Kinda disappointed.
