A little history… Have you ever walked into a place, and you instantly feel at home? Well, Puckett's Grocery and Restaurant is that sort of place. Founded in the 1950s, Puckett's served as a country store to several communities in Williamson County. It has always been the place to buy some food, grab a good homemade sandwich and catch up on the day's events in the world and at home. In 2004, Puckett's opened in Historic Downtown Franklin, and now in 2010, Downtown Nashville as well. Southern breakfasts with local, organic eggs, award winning burgers, plate lunches,fresh salads, cherry wood smoked BBQ pulled pork and ribs, and homemade desserts, make every meal memorable. Add live entertainment from some of Nashville's greatest artists and songwriters and you have the complete Puckett's experience!                                                                       We love to take out of town friends to Pucketts in Franklin for a true TN food experience. We were seated in the back as requested. After about 10 minutes our friendly server took drink orders which appeared 10 minutes later. At that time he took our food orders, nothing fried as we know that takes a long time. It took one hour for our food to arrive and it was lukewarm at best. BBQ & slaw tasty. I was extremely disappointed in the green beans which used to be cooked southern style; these were straight from the can. The singer was excellent but the volume was over the top loud. This is not the Pucketts we have loved and enjoyed for nearly a dozen years. I was embarrassed to have taken our guests there.

                                                                      It was billed as a Song Writers Night with 2 amazing song writers. Obviously, the audience didn't know what that meant. They were loud, rude, and in fact the very front double table paid no attention to the show and were talking and using their cell phones during the entire performance. What a waste!

                                                                      Pucketts was incredible!! We went on a Saturday night to watch 3 amazing song writers and have dinner. The entertainment was fabulous! Dinner was also delicious!! Fun atmosphere and great experience! We will be back!!!

                                                                      We were headed to an event at the Franklin Theatre so we were glad to have reservations. Our server Haley was sweet and personable. Our food was very good except the fried dill pickles were overly salty - not sure if it was the batter or if they were salted as they came out of the fryer. Otherwise everything was delicious -service was great.
