    Old Town Temecula is a very busy area and dining , particularly on the main street can be ‘boisterous’ and crowded. Public House is only a few steps off the main street but felt like a different place. While busy, it was unrushed and quieter. Service was attentive but not overly so. We were meeting old friends for an oft-delayed catch-up and the atmosphere was perfect. Food has always been well prepared, timely and delicious and again so this visit. PH adds a unique touch to their dishes that elevates them above conventional fare. Always been pleased.

    First time experiencing this venue. Sat outside on patio to enjoy the jazz band that was set to play. I love live music. Variety of food on the menu, fish tacos, ribs, hamburgers, sandwiches - food was average, beef tasty and tender. Drinks were average. Parking was easy at pay to park lot right across the street. Staff was friendly. Misters were going on patio to cool area, nice touch to be able to sit outside on a hot day.

    We hadn't been to Public House in a long time & were excited to go back. Once we were seated, we saw that the owners made the HORRIBLE decision to stop taking CASH as payment and only accepting credit cards. Cash is legal tender & while we understand that it is a business' right to not accept it, it is a bad decision. Between all of us, we know many people that don't carry credit cards (for financial and/or fraud reasons) & you are excluding them from patronizing your business = losing money. We ended up leaving (we left a CASH tip for our wonderful waiter that brought us water) & taking our business to one the MANY other businesses in the area that accepted our hard-earned CASH. We will not be back (unless this policy is changed).

    Hostess was accomodating enough to move us to a better seat because we had a child with us. Service was also fantastic and best of all the music from the band of young musicians playing was sooo good!
