Located in the heart of Downtown Culver City, Public School is a fun, school-themed gastropub that features a wide selection of local craft beers, classic drafts and craft cocktails. PS delivers "An Education in the Art of Food & Beer." We offer a chef-driven menu that is made from scratch using only the freshest quality ingredients. "Recess" (aka Happy Hour) is held Monday through Friday from 3pm-6pm.

Great selection of comfort foods with a good value point. Nice chill environment with comfortable seating and cozy overall space. Highly recommended for Lunch or Dinner.

Easy place for a casual bite. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. Burger was tasty, but Korean egg roll appetizer was almost all breading/wrapper with only a whisp of meat, and a dipping sauce that tasted canned. Curried chicken was whole grilled chicken breast over rice with sauce. A cherry tomato or two, but no other vegetables. I'd go for a beer and burger again, but I don't trust the rest of the menu.

$10 for about 10 French fries, flat beer and the place was empty but they still sat us a foot from the only other people on that side of the bar

As always, the menu food and drink options were spectacular and delicious. I have been a fan of their peanut butter and jelly burger since the first time I tried it, so it’s definitely one of my favorite dishes on the menu. Public School is definitely one of my favorite restaurants in downtown Culver City and they are pet friendly which is definitely a must for us.

I've eaten at Public School before & enjoyed my meal. This time was a disappointment. The caesar salad had no flavor and the chicken was grissley and fatty. The buffalo cauliflower was great though.
