Known as the eclectic neighborhood gastropub, Pubbelly Sushi brings a hyper-creative fusion of Japanese and Latin-inspired dishes by chef José Mendín. When Mendín founded the first Pubbelly, his intention was singular: Create a place where chefs could eat high-quality, affordable dishes in a cool atmosphere. Pubbelly became an instant locals' favorite when it opened in 2010. A decade later, it continues to be embraced by the market, winning the 2020 Miami New Times Readers' Choice Award for "Best Sushi", and maintaining a spot on every tourist's "must" list.

What a delicious experience! Service was excellent and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend the pork belly gyoza, the tostones with ceviche and the wagyu beef tartare. Expect great things if you visit Pubbelly.

Miami spice. Absolutely wonderful. Food was so tasty and very unique. Kudos to the chef. Very innovative No skimping on the portions either And service was exemplary couldn’t have been nicer. We will definitely be back. So many interesting combinations yet to try

Excellent food and great service! We had edamame as our appetizer and it was wonderful. The Lychee Coco Martini and the Butter Krab Roll for dinner were amazing! Together, those are perfection!

Fork dirty, waiter forgot 1 item we ordered, waiter did not inform of beverage change until I checked receipt to see price changed and overpriced dessert- not remediated. Food was good overall. Restaurant was pretty empty considering the time however more attentiveness could have improved rating

They label gluten-free items on their menu, but literally only one item is marked gluten-free: edamame. Why bother labeling if you’re going to be this unfriendly to those who are gluten intolerant? Please educate your servers on which items can be made without gluten. I understand not catering to celiacs because that is a very serious medical condition, but for those of us who are intolerant or sensitive (and believe me it’s not by choice) it should be pretty easy to accommodate.
