Known as the eclectic neighborhood gastropub, Pubbelly Sushi brings a hyper-creative fusion of Japanese and Latin-inspired dishes by chef José Mendín. When Mendín founded the first Pubbelly, his intention was singular: Create a place where chefs could eat high-quality, affordable dishes in a cool atmosphere. Pubbelly became an instant locals' favorite when it opened in 2010. A decade later, it continues to be embraced by the market, winning the 2020 Miami New Times Readers' Choice Award for "Best Sushi", and maintaining a spot on every tourist's "must" list.

Very slow service, one waiter in the whole room. He mixed up and forgot orders. We ordered three times for a child because the waiter didn't take the order to the kitchen. When we asked why this happened, we were told that you are not alone in the room, although the restaurant was almost empty. The sushi was delicious, but we will not return here again.

I should’ve known that a restaurant with ample reservations on short notice during an otherwise busy Saturday night was not the way to go.

It was nice a nice experience , the sushi was great just not wow as i expected it. The service was good but it felt a bit rushed as my reservation was for 9pm and they close at 10pm but it’s understandable.

Service was beyond slow today. Had to ask for soy, wasabi, water…. It was almost as if they didn’t know what to bring to the table.

We recently ate at Pubbelly in Aventura. The food was excellent. However, we had two people waiting on us. The main waiter was great and responsive. But the other was not great. For some reason they didn't want to remove the empty plates from soup and appetizers when bringing the main course, until we asked them to. Also we had to ask to bring napkins to the table (as there weren't any when it was set. Overall I gave a good rating for the food and ambiance.

Food was alright, service was slow, store was hard to find. Only Sushi Restaurant that I have dined that didn’t bring out soy sauce with the sushi and for whatever reason would bot bring it, after I requested it; I had to go to the bar and request it. It was not a good experience.

We have been for the first time and we were impressed. Amazing food, nice and friendly staff and lovey cocktail. Highly recommended
