In collaboration with Chicago's vibrant theater community, we bring you the best way to enjoy Proxi in a shorter format to allow for a quick dinner before a show. The menu features a first course of sharables for the table, followed by a choice entree course, and family style dessert, all highlighting our kitchen team's globe-trotting, award-winning style. Available Monday through Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for your pre-theater experience.

    Unbelieveable experience. My wife and I can’t decide which course was our favorite. A must try for true foodies in Chicago. Service was outstanding!

    All around just mid. Portions were way smaller then your average michelin style course meals. Nibbled on food and my tab was $350. They added a health care surcharge and a server experience surcharge. Added an extra $50 for what. Never going back there.

    Proxi's food is not only outstanding but memorable. It is rare to experience such a level of care and quality. We are grateful to have such a restaurant in Chicago.

    The restaurant week menu is something we will talk about for a very long time. Outstanding food, wine pairing, and larger portions than we were expecting! AMAZING!

    Food is excellent, creative, flavorful, beautiful, with top notch service staff and incredible ambience. Dishes - highlights to mention - chaat was exploding with flavor, hummus presentation was noteworthy, scallops and mussels seemed perfect in how they were cooked, eggplant sambar had an ideal consistency and nicely brought forth the fragrant mustard seeds, red chili, curry leaves with the fritter/dumpling. Wagyu and jerky dishes were quite satisfying. Wonderful wine pairings. The only issue was the price fixe is an overwhelmingly excessive amount of food that detracted from the experience. Felt like it’s was double or even triple the necessary amount. Service mistakenly gave an allergen food to one member of our party, but it was caught in time and they graciously apologized and brought out an amazing alternate dish. Loved the restaurant and its food and service, it is a special place, but I don’t think I’ll ever do prix fixe here again and will only go if a Ia carte is available. I just can’t understand the quantity. Am I supposed to send back plates? And given the cost, it does feel like there ends up being waste of food and money. That said, the gracious staff efficiently boxed up items on request.

    Restaurant week menu was fantastic. The scallop extra was phenomenal. We really enjoyed the menu. The wine pairing was really nice as well. Being able to see the team work at the chef’s counter was a treat. Service got a little slow at the end but the restaurant was also in full swing versus the first few seatings. They gave us a nice anniversary dessert, which was a complete surprise and much appreciated.
