Come experience an abridged version of Chef Andrew Zimmerman's popular Chef's Menu before enjoying a night at the theater! In collaboration with Chicago's vibrant theater community, we bring you the best way to enjoy Proxi in a shorter format to allow for a quick dinner before a show. The menu features a first course of sharables for the table, followed by a choice entree course, and family style dessert, all highlighting our kitchen team's globe-trotting, award-winning style. Available Thursday through Saturday, from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. Please allow approximately 90 minutes for your pre-theater experience.

Outstanding food and room. I liked this meal a real lot. Service could be a bit more attentive and I am certainly recommending it to my friends.

We have been to Proxi numerous times. last night we were disappointed by the food. The tempura elotes which we always order, had too much batter, not enough corn and had absorbed too much of the oil they were cooked in. The Parsi fried chicken was moist, we liked the sliced cucumber but the green sauce it was served with was not very flavorful. Each dish was somehow flawed. The food was just not as flavorful or executed as well as we have come to expect. I hope and trust it was only an off night.

The food was shockingly good. Great dimly lit atmosphere and background music that wasn’t too loud. Would love to come here again

We came back again to have the Chef's Table this time. It was as good as anticipated. The foie gras was out of this world and the almond meringue dessert was super as well, but everything was great. We sat outside, which is always pleasant and had a lovely evening.

excellent experience. Very nice ambiance and very attentive service. Would highly recommend visitin Proxi and try the chefs recommendation on the menu. 4 course meal with delicious dishes and fluid service to result in a top notch fine dining experience. Will definitely be coming here again. P.S. The lamb is to die for. Highly recommend lamb skewers/ lamb shoulder

You know this place is legit once you see the chefs’ names on the menu along with pan-Asian multi-course meal options and crafty cocktails. The foods here blew my mind with creative fine-dining grade options.
