Providence Coal Fired Pizza est le seul restaurant du Rhode Island qui cuit sa pizza uniquement au charbon de Pennsylvanie. Leur four à charbon est encore plus unique: il a été conçu et fabriqué à Bellingham, Washington. Great meal! We ordered the chicken wings, chicken parm dip, and pepperoni pizza. All were excellent.

The food was good. The service fine. BUT, we made reservations here specifically because of the offer for valet parking on Performing Arts (PPAC) performance nights. Leave the car and pick it up after the show. What's better than that? Because in the past I had run into trouble with timing on this, I CALLED the restaurant to make certain of when the Valet Parking went into effect. 545P, they said. I made reservations for 545. When we arrived we were told that Valet Parking was only on weekends. "Good luck!" After backing down one-way streets with oncoming traffic, we finally were able to get a spot ($25) from a very friendly attendant almost across the street. And now we're late for our reservation although this did not present a problem. Particularly irksome was later reading their ad in the PPAC Program touting "Free Valet Parking Tuesday - Saturday Show Nights !!! (This was a Thursday . . .) The restaurant is fine for a visit, but think again before considering it a great parking find for PPAC! This is the second time we have run into this bait & switch. Eat elsewhere and find cheaper parking closer to the Center.

The food is always good here. Great salads and pizzas. Our server was prompt and knew we were heading to a show and moved quickly to get our order in and served in a timely manner.

Really tasty pizza and great grilled shrimp. Kids favorite. A little uncomfortable at tables, but the bar looks nice. It’s all about the pizza.

We needed to increase the number of people in our party multiple times … and then we needed to push the time out because we were running late. PCFP was extremely accommodating and did a great job of getting us in and servicing our party of 10. Food, drinks, and service were all great.

The food was very good and our server was very efficient and friendly however I had some really unique experiences on our visit that will probably prevent me from going here again. First: Valet was a perk of going here but the valet wasn’t there and no staff knew when he would be coming so we paid $25 to park in a nearby lot. Not a deal breaker but a touch annoying as the restaurant certainly advertises it. Second: We were seated at a table abutting the server station where we got to hear a couple of times their thoughts on customers and wow… they weren’t a fan of most. We hadn’t been served so joked “is this meant to be a warning to us” Third: I attempted to order a cappuccino as my pre meal beverage but was told the machine was broken. No alternative given. Fourth: And this is the one that sealed the deal for me…I went to go the bathroom but was basically hip checked and cut off by a server who clearly realized what a mistake he made but instead as he opened the door to the bathroom turned to me and said “Sorry.. just like two minutes “ Just ewww never mind rude. So in the end food was good. My three shrimp on an $18 bibb lettuce pile was ok. Pizza good. Our server was nice. But 4 strikes and a bathroom battle leaves me thinking that was my last visit. Management definitely needs to start managing.
