Our third time eating here. First two were stellar. Last night was disappointing. The $9 bread basket was four mini store bought rolls… boring and unacceptable for this type of meal. Was not like that before. The mushroom/onion soup was very watered down and had canned mushrooms. Was delicious previously. Not last night. The main courses were enjoyable. For dessert we had the crème brûlée and strawberry tart. The crème brûlée had a very thin layer in the bowl. It was very tasty but very skimpy portion. I am absolutely not of the mindset that the plates and bowls need to be overflowing but I expect servings to be adequate and the food « from scratch » … not bread from Costco (or some place similar) or out of a can (the mushrooms). Had last night been our first experience, we probably wouldn’t return. We’ll see if/when we return again.

We had a wonderful experience dining here. We had not been since the menu choices changed. We all chose the 3 course option and each of us enjoyed our meals. The hit of the night was the beignet tree. Our server, Clive, was excellent. Look forward to going back!

Very small portions. We had the beet salad and it was very good but tiny;loved the dressing. I ordered the scallops and they were overcooked and a notch above lukewarm. They were small and the veggies were minimal in my opinion. The restaurant has wonderful ambiance, little white lights, tufted fabric chairs. At the price point and miniumal portions, I don't think they should charge for bread. I didn't order it because a previous review said they had a piece that was frozen. My server was fabulous and very personable, I beleive she was from Belarus. She did a great job and the hostess was terrrific, warm and friendly.

Our server Natalia was excellent. Ambience very nice. Appetizers were very good ,oysters on half shell very fresh, escargot overpowered by the mushrooms,and mushroom onion soup surprisingly had way too much cheese and too few onions. Entrees ....poussin very good and short rib very good but not special . The beignets .... too dense and heavy. Need a new recipe. HOWEVER. My wife and I had a wonderful anniversary experience.

Twice in one day says it all. First time here and we came for brunch. It was so awesome we’re coming came back for dinner and even more amazing. Please come and support this super rare gem that could be located in ANY of the worlds best restaurant rows. Any!

Lovely find! We will be back to try the dinner selections. The staff was very attentive and friendly, nice decor. Looking forward to dining there again!

Absolutely outstanding! Can’t say enough other than we’re coming back for dinner tonight. Brunch in the morning and then dinner the same day kind of says it all. A true ALL of NJ gem
