Brilliant food quality, lacking on speed of service. The roast beef was absolutely fantastic!

Attended for Sunday lunch with the family. Amazed at huge portions, loved the range of vegetables including beetroot and fennel as well as roasties and parsnips. Lovely selection of desserts. Staff were friendly and attentive.

There are two joint dining areas restaurant and cafe. Restaurant is more popular opens onto a pretty seated garden the cafe has no outlook and popular with families kids crying etc. I was told to make my preference clear when booking online.

From the warm reception we received on arrival through to the end of the meal, everything was flawless. Service was relaxed but very efficient. Although the restaurant was fairly busy, we didn’t have to wait too long for each course. The food was exceptional. Wouldn’t hesitate to return.

Sunday lunch, always wonderful food and service was brilliant. Well run, well organised and fabulous experience from start to finish.

Well what can I say! It was our first time visiting Provenance and we were certainly not disappointed! From the lovely setting, the welcoming, polite and exceptional waiting staff, to the amazing food. We were all so full from our delicious Sunday lunches that we didn’t eat for the rest of the day! We will most definitely be back again!

As usual I enjoyed a very good lunch with yourselves. Good food , good service & the only negative is the noise level though the staff did find us a quiet table.

Wonderful lunch , food as always was beautifully cooked with great flavour combinations and textures ( aubergine flatbread snd whipped labneh , steak and their fabulous potatoes ) . Staff were attentive and friendly. Unfortunately no time for dessert this time !

With regards to service charge, which was included, the waitress was unable to say what the percentage amounted to. No transparency. Bill not easy to read. Well cooked food. Will return.
