We without question have the best food of any bar you have ever been to. We are a bar, so 21+ only allowed. Reservations recommended, walk-ins accepted when seating is available. Patio seating has no view of shows. Reservation disclaimer: Tables are not assigned until arrival. We also will not seat any party until all guests have arrived. There is a 10 minute grace period, if your party does not arrive within 10 of your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.

Plusieurs dates disponibles
Prohibition is a bar 21+. Valid physical ID required. Only 1 reservation per party allowed each night. Friday and Saturday indoor reservations/seating from 7pm to 10:30pm will be charged admissions upon arrival. Shows are about 25 minutes long. Reservations before 9 PM may be limited to 2 hour seating based on availability. Reservations after 9 PM have unlimited table time. Outdoor reservations do not include access to view a show and will not be charged admission.

Can’t beat the food…outstanding! We ordered the Venison Bruchetta, Fig Salad with Steak and Elephant Ears. All were delicious, especially the sublime red wine reduction sauce on the Elephant Ears. The specialty cocktails were wonderful, but expensive! Definitely recommend and will come back.

This was one of our favorite dinning experiences in the city. The food was phenomenal! The service was amazing! The decor and ambiance was everything we hoped a speakeasy could be. We were so impressed with everything and the staff really took care of us. We can’t wait to go back!!

The food, drinks, and service were amazing quality. The cost for said food and drinks was a bit high, personally, but I would recommend going here if you base your restaurant choices only on food quality.

The speakeasy theme of walking into an antique store and then a secret door into the bar. Restaurant is kind of fun, but it stops there Get ready for slow service. Don' bother asking for steak to be medium or well done they bring it the way they want. Don't bother asking for your eggs to be medium or over easy, they bring it the way they want. Dont expect the bacon or shrimp to come out with your ultimate bloody Mary, they will show up after you're already finished with your Bloody Mary. Don't think your food will arrive at the same time. Don't try and redo one of the items that comes wrong because everybody else will be finished and you'll end up getting it to go wrong to go that is because it'll take a half an hour to fix It. Don't expect to see any of the entertainment at Sunday brunch that you read about. It's only on Friday and Saturday Saturday nights. Salt Lake isn't known as a foodie city so don't be surprised this establishment been in business for six years still....

Love Prohibition. The food and drinks are amazing. I have eaten breakfast lunch and dinner here and can say the food is great and the atmosphere is so fun. Highly recommend

We have been a few times for cocktails and appetizers, but this was our first time for dinner and we absolutely loved it. We will definitely be back!

The overall experience was good like normal. Service was good. I thought their cheesy pasta was probably the worst thing I’ve tried on their menu. And it wasn’t cheap either. But overall the ALFRED O is still the best pasta they have

Great spot for brunch! Coffee society was great, mimosas were refreshing. Food was awesome- perfect steak and eggs, amazing chicken and biscuits.

Hi Matthew, my apologies that you were not seated in a better location. Unfortunately this facility was not built for what we use it for. In fact this was originally a gym. We found pool tile under the wood floor. Please be sure to ask the host when you come in, if you can be seated for best view of the show. It is not a sure thing by any means as earlier reservations tend to take the best seats. I do see during your visit that we had a late cancellation and should have been able to move you to a booth on east wall. Also, when making a reservation online please put in the comments that you would like best seating for show. We try to serve these requests when possible. When we are fully booked it is difficult at best to move seating. Lastly, the late show is normally more available as well

Dinner felt subpar for the price. Cool spot, unique 1920s atmosphere, but should’ve gone to Olive Garden for pasta. Also had heard the brussel sprouts were incredible, but the raw bacon pieces on top ruined it for us.

Hi Courtney, thanks for taking the time to leave your valuable feedback. You are correct, for those familiar with dining and prices at Olive Garden, the menu at Prohibition can be a little surprising. However, there are significant differences that do equate to a higher cost. At Prohibition our pastas are made fresh, no dried pre packaged products are used. The sauce is made to order from scratch, and the proteins are all local or in region supplied. The Artichoke Chicken pasta you ordered for example, fresh linguine, fresh cream and Parmesan, with artichoke and other vegetable mixed in a saute pan. The chicken is Red Bird Farms, antibiotic and steroid free, natural chicken. And the bacon is direct from local provider, we bake in oven, then chop. No bacons bits at all. Thanks again!
