Experience dining approximately 30 feet below ground in historic caverns that were hand built in the 1800's. Accidentally discovered in 2018 during the building of our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex, we have refurbished the caverns once used to store beer before air conditioning into a one of a kind dining experience. Every Friday and Saturday night we provide an 8 course dinner with wine pairings from our home winery ( Cypress Hill Winery ) using wines made with California grapes. Prepaid reservation only. Also available to book out for events.

Experience an 8 course set menu curated dinner from our culinary team that is sure to tantalize your taste buds and wow you from beginning to end. Price includes tax and gratuity. Wine pairings available as an extra add-on. Our culinary team uses fresh local produce and the highest quality proteins available to create a rotating menu for the "foodie" at heart. You will be enjoying this experience in a comfortable dining setting nestled approximately 30 feet underground in caverns that were hand built in the 1800s. The caverns were discovered by accident while constructing our parent restaurant, Hudson and Essex. It was at that point that we knew we had to repurpose this piece of history into the most unique dining experience in the area.

This was such an amazing experience. It was an awesome way to celebrate our 13th wedding anniversary. Im so glad I found this place on Google. Not only is it a restaurant but a cave and my husband and I love caves. We have been to a lot of them. The host/servers were great. The ambiance was lovely and very romantic. The food was weird but good, and that is coming from a picky eater. This was beyond a 5 star rating. We enjoyed every part of it. We even had the opportunity to meet the owners which was nice as well. Can't wait to come back!

The most incredible dinner experience my husband and I have ever had. From the amazing server, Jamie, to the ambience, to the unbelievable food we will never forget this!

Everything was very good. Food is elevated and different but creatively put together. The environment is super cool. It’s a little and damp as would be expected in a cave. It’s very romantic. It’s so much food that we were busting when we left. I would very much recommend it. Great experience.

We definitely enjoyed all 8 courses, some better than others. I would recommend doing the wine pairings. Overall, Prohibition at the Caverns is an experience you won’t want to miss!

We had such a wonderful time, the food and service were both excellent. The hospitality was beyond. We got the wine pairings and I highly recommend. Quite the unforgettable experience.

Our experience was amazing! Isaac was very informative and Rachel was amazing! The food was fabulous. we were very happy that we were able to experience this restaurant! It is something we will not forget - a truly hidden gem!
