We had Peter as our waiter....he was amazing. Recommended wine, apps, and dinner. We also met Steve, the manager, best of luck in his new position. I had the filet! Is was great.

The food was delicious. Drinks were great! Highly recommend. It’s a hidden gem that many people are unaware and have no idea what a spectacular place it is! 5 stars all around! Staff is top notch!! Highly recommended!! Definitely coming back!

Beautiful view and ambience; excellent hospitality and attentive service; engaging & personable Mgmt by Felix and Mgmt by walking around, he even personally cooked our 10oz steak to ensure exact temperature and taste!! Helping size is very good! We were stuffed! Prices seem comparable to Boston fine dining. Could be marginally less. Will definitely return and refer others!

To start we were greeted by Felix (Albano) with a smile and when asked about the menu he was very informative. Our appetizers to start was crabcake, cherry glazed bacon and caesar salad. My favorite was the bacon, I could not get enough of it! For main entrees was Filet Mignon, NY Strip and Scallops with sides potato au gratin; baked potato brussels sprouts. I had the baked potato, it was so large that I split with my husband and still had another half to take home, The steaks were cooked to perfection. ended the night with tiramisu and cappuccinos.

Felix & Rebekah definitely elevated our experience at Prime. Thoughts in no particular order: Some parts of the meal were poor such as the oddly colored and plain asparagus which was ordered as a side dish. The steaks were just ok. Shallot cream recommended by Rebekah was delicious. The artichokes side, gluten free bread, and cappuccino were also very enjoyable. The piano music and view are very nice. Being seated at a high top table was definitely unexpected and not what I prefer but we went with it. There are no table cloths and the water glasses on our table were both dirty and made of what seemed to be plastic. Plates for the appetizers and to share sushi were for some reason not automatically brought to the table. We used our bread plates which were already covered in crumbs at that point. I have very mixed feelings about the visit. The staff were excellent, but unfortunately the overall experience left more to be desired. We expected a more upscale experience. I thought the dress code said “no sneakers”, yet seated next to us was a woman wearing sneakers. People seemed to be dressed for the country club and not the steakhouse. This didn’t bother me, but had I known this I would have dressed down a bit. We felt out of place dressed as we normally do for a date night. I would visit again for a girl’s luncheon and to share a bottle of the Cava that came as a welcome recommendation by Felix. I don’t think I would return here for another “night out” with my husband. The place has potential, but needs more to satisfy people who who are accustomed to fine dining experiences in major cities. Prime has the city prices, now the rest of it needs to rise to the city level. For me the staff and especially, Felix, were the best part of our dinner at Prime. Without Felix, I think Prime at Skymeadow will suffer greatly.

Thank you for your feedback. I regret that you chose to express your concerns publicly rather than giving us the chance to address them while here. You mentioned you likely won’t be returning; it’s disappointing we couldn’t resolve the issues and enhance your experience. The water glasses, your discomfort with the tall table, and your thoughts on the steaks could have been addressed immediately had you brought them to my attention during one of my visits. While I strive to anticipate guests' needs, I can only address issues when I’m aware of them. I would have gladly replaced the glasses, moved you to a more comfortable table, and ensured your meal exceeded your expectations. I appreciate your compliments but would have preferred a higher rating reflecting our usual five-star standard.

As always this restaurant excels in all aspects....Felix was great host, our server, Peter, was very attentive, knowledgeable and personable...entrees prepared to perfection, sides are plentiful and very tasty....

Prime did not disappoint in any aspect as we celebrated a wedding anniversary. The views of Southeastern NH are stunning but the food quality and service will WOW you. Although a table of younger men near us was a little louder than one would expect in a high-end restaurant of this quality (Whatever happended to "inside voices?) the overal experience is outstanding. We suggest you visit the menu before going there to see what the appeal is all about.
