Whether your needs require anything from a waterfront elegant four course dinner to a casual Dockside cocktail party, Prime has you covered. The Vine Room can be divided into two smaller spaces for more intimate gatherings or it can remain as one room, hosting up to 64 of your guests. Our Porch can accommodate groups of up to 32 who can enjoy the fresh air and harbor views while enjoying the best that our kitchen has to offer. You can also choose the Hedge Bar for a cozy cocktail party with a spectacular view of Huntington Harbor and our breath taking susnet view.

The food here is absolutely delicious!! Every dish we tried was bursting flavor and cooked to perfection. The services at Prime An American was top-notch. Our waiter Julian was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations and he was attentive. Truly great service!! Definitely going back! Great Atmosphere.

Excellent food and service. Our table of 7 were seated on the back porch. Great atmosphere. Very attentive waitstaff. Overall an excellent experience.

My family loves it here. It’s our go to for a celebration. It’s always wonderful and reliable. Perfect in every way.

As usual, the food and service was OUTSTANDING. The moment we got to the hostess stand, we received a very welcoming greeting, as if we were old friends. The service at the bar was great! One bartender loves Old Fashions and it showed in the way he crafted the two I had. Unfortunately, I don't know his name. Stephanie was great as usual. She helped me craft a new cocktail. Her recommendation was spot on, and it was delicious. Once we sat at the table the outstanding service continued. The waiter was helpful, prompt, and was preset at the table the exact amount of time necessary. The food (NY Strip Steak and Wellington) were both cooked to perfection. The brussel sprots were very good. All in all, a ten out of ten. We have already made our next reservation.

We were disappointed with our steak. The Delmonico steak for $75 was mediocre and the Petite Filet Mignon for $65 was dry, grainy and tough. We informed our waiter who brought the manager over immediately. The manager offered to bring out another Filet Mignon but we refused. He did take the $65 off of our bill! We were surprised not to find baked potatoes or Heineken beer available. Everyone we encountered was helpful, respectful and anxious to please. The venue is gorgeous and service wonderful. I think we may give it another try.

Our anniversary dinner was excellent from start to finish. The hostess greeted us with anniversary wishes and we found a congratulations card and small box of chocolates waiting on our table. A really lovely touch! Everything got better from there. The ambience, the service, the VIEW and oh-the-food -- everything was amazing!!! While Prime is very large, the lighting, the acoustics and the layout made us feel we were in a very intimate space, which I really appreciated since I HATE loud restaurants. Dinner was definitely pricey -- more than we would ordinarily spend -- but the entire experience made it worth it. Prime will definitely be one of my go-to spots for special occasions. Can't say enough about how much we enjoyed it!

Prime is our 'special occasion' place. We celebrated my wife's birthday with our 15 yr old son. The food was great, one of the very few places that serves Beef Wellington! Its a delicious dish. We were, however, a little disappointed that there was no fish special (was the day after Labor Day holiday .. we were told they're catching up) so she got the trout but it was a little fishy. They did make it right so all good! Highly recommend Prime but bring your wallet. Its a pricey place .. but you get what you pay for .. and that's great service and great food!
