Wonderful experience - as always! Food was outstanding, 1/2 price bottles of wine on Monday! Dessert was so good, worth having if you have room!

Our third time at Prime was the best! We met the new owner and he told us to expect something spectacular and he was right! I must comment on the lobster pasta dish….almost more lobster chunks than linguini…lol…really an amazing spectacular dish. the service was terrific, the food was great and the ambiance in the full restaurant was really top notch…

Everyting was perfect except for the cooling in the private room , was not cool enough even after we ask to put mor cooling it was hot inside the holde safe!

Although the service by Georgia was great and most of the food was good I was overall quite disappointed. One thing that every chef and every kitchen should know how to do is to cook a steak to the proper levels. I ordered a medium rare steak and what I got was at least medium well but really well done. Both Georgia and the manager agreed and they did offer to replace it, but since my dinner companions were well into their meals I didn’t feel like holding them up while I waited. I did receive a minor discount for my meal, but that didn’t make up for the disappointment Cooking a steak is a basic skill for all chefs. Please try to get it right. I will probably go elsewhere the next time I have a desire for a nice steak dinner.

The Manager greets you by name, our waitress was very attentive, the place was very busy being enjoyed by a lot of diners, the three of us all enjoyed our food and the owner even came by a gave us drink and visited with us!

Very nice restaurant and our first visit to Prime 79. Recommended by friends when we moved to the area, as one is the nicer places to dine. Ambience: very pretty restaurant. Food was ok: I had the thermador linguine, and the lobster was dry. The tuna starter was excellent. I asked for a wine spritzer and instead I received a large glass of white wine full of ice. Likely, we will return but I’ll be more strategic with my dinner choice. I’ll ask for a new drink if they make a mistake again. The others seemed to like their starters and food selection. It was a busy evening which is likely why the service seemed rushed at first, and then slow and why the food was not served hot.

The food was just great Monday night....loved it! and 1/2 price bottles of wine... Who could ask for more! will be back for sure.... the dining atmosphere is the nicest in Collingwood.....👍❤️

Had a very enjoyable dinner at Prime Seven Nine. Friendly staff, great food and cocktails For the main course, we had the Lobster Thermidor (Chef Feature) and Filet Mignon and as for drinks, Tinkerbell and Drunken Monkey
