PrimaverA ristorante serves both quality interpretations of classic Italian dishes and daring new ventures into the new territories of food. Our restaurant offers the choice to watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open-kitchen main dining room or with the nearly year-round beautiful weather that allows for our guests to enjoy the action of the surrounding area and fresh air, dining on our outdoor side patio. The bar and lounge dining area is certainly open for all guests enjoying lounge setting for both lunch and dinner service. For drinks, we offer a well thought for and premium handcrafted cocktails & beers created and chosen by our manager as well as an ever evolving Wine-List with plenty of choices by the glass. For larger groups and more private dining, our Tuscan Banquet dining room is open every day for all party sizes when availability permits. Catering and preparing Food for large groups for offsite delivery is accepted by prior arrangement.

When booking on open table - there was no indication stating that ONLY a special Valentine’s Day menu was available - This should have been more transparent- everyone around us were shocked by the limited expensive pre-fixed option - usually if this is the case it should have been advertised as “experience only” or “prefixed only” The waiters were overstretched and could not communicate well - our order was wrong in multiple examples The food itself did have the quality taste for the prices listed I will not be coming here again

First time dining at this restaurant. Special Valentine menu was full of good food choices. My wife had the lobster special and I had their veal plate. Her lobster dinner was excellent; my veal was was also superb. Sofia's service was excellent in spite of the holiday crowd. Highly recommend this restaurant for good food and friendly ambiance.

on the expensive side for a san ramon italian restarurant, but makes it up with the quantity. Bread- used to be free, is now $5 !! Skipped it

My husband and I ate here last night. The chopped salad with artichoke hearts was delicious. We both had chicken piccata and it was so flavorful! When we walked in we were warmly greeted and the owner remembered us which I love! Primavera has been our go to restaurant since we moved to San Ramon 25 years ago.

First of all, they gave our table away because they misheard the name the other party gave them. 2nd, they charge for bread when their prices for a bowl of plain pasta is so high already $10 for kids. Then their version of carbonara doesn’t really made with egg yolks, it’s 90% cream so send sent it back. We also told them we’re celebrating a birthday when we ordered our desserts and we were told that they’ll bring a big giant table candle because they don’t have any that they can put on the dessert but our server forgot about it and I had to ask again. We had tiramisu but it had some frozen parts and we also had crème brûlée that was not creamy inside at all, it’s overcooked! It’s terrible for the price they charge.

Our server, Kyle was outstanding! Cocktails were superb! The food was really good….but salmon was overcooked-we like it on the rare side. Love the atmosphere in the bar area- one of our new go-to restaurants!
