Delicious food. Fast friendly service. I had a Reisling, French onion soup & filet mignon. Desserts looked great but I resisted.

Overall, there are much better steak houses. The Primal Cut tries to put itself on par with the nicer steak houses in Chicago. It falls short. For the south/south west suburbs sure it’s good. However, it can’t compete with Gibsons, Mastros, Chicago Cut, Chicago Prime, etc. if you want that level, skip this place.

Bread was delicious. Ribeye Steak was just so so. Filet was good. While we did have reservations we were put into what was more or less a banquet room while the main areas and tables where all empty. The worst part of the experience was the automatic 18% gratuity for just 2 people and then another 3.5% on the bill for not having cash. Both of which were not even mentioned until we got the check. Who has cash these days. The waiter was great so we have no complaints as far as service, but the overall experience was nothing to go back for.

Great experience. The bone in ribeye and lambs chops are delicious. Sides are good not great. Molly was great as our waiter. Classy place.

We had reservations and were seated when we arrived. We used valet parking. Our waiter was attentive and accommodating. We also appreciated the way all the staff helped to serve and clear our table. We had the fried calamari which was delicious and fresh. I ordered the crab legs which were pricey at $125. They were good, but came pre split so they were not hot or even warm. I chose not to complain as we were celebrating a birthday and I didn’t want to bother. My husband ordered the strip steak with Parmesan top and he said it was excellent. Cooked as ordered. We also both had the French onion soup and it was salty but isn’t French onion soup supposed to be salty? It was delicious. We also had bread and butter at our table. I had the French martini and it was delicious, not too strong. We will definitely be back but only for special occasions

I will definitely go back. It was a little pricey but we ate very well so it was worth it. Everything was outstanding, from the butter to the ice cream.

Our experience at Primal Cut was amazing! The food was delicious, steaks were perfectly cooked and the wait staff was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable!
