Brought friends from NYC who are true Italophiles. I’ll admit I was a little nervous but Prima knocked it out of the park. They left VERY impressed that a restaurant in Ohio could stand tall against the city’s finest Italian establishments. Well done. Adam, you were on point.

We loved Prima Cucina at their old location: excellent food, service and atmosphere. The new Austintown location was very disappointing. My favorite eggplant parm is totally different. It wasn’t bad, but the super thin stacked layers of eggplant and yummy sauce were not the same. They recently opened at this new location, so maybe the atmosphere will change. Right now it’s just beige and bright. The staff and service was good.

Our waiter was very personable and friendly but needs training. The wine list is very nice but the first four we asked for were not available . The food was exceptional. We will wait a few months and then give this fine restaurant another try.

New location for this restaurant so I understand early problems but atmosphere was more of a banquet hall and very loud. They probably need to put noise absorbing decorations on the walls as they were completely bare. Food prices were reasonable for better dining food except if you want to order any top shelf liquor in a drink, they will charge you much higher, was charged $21 for a bourbon based cocktail, which included two dollars for soda splash, I thought that was a little ridiculous.

Every thing was outstanding service, food, drinks. Just wish they had turned down the jukebox people pay to use instead of turning it off.

Food was good, however the restaurant fails to mention that there are not free refills on soft drinks.
