We went to Prima for a special occasion! The atmosphere and decoration of the restaurant is just beautiful! It is so romantic and sophisticated. The service was exceptional as well - our server was attentive of our needs without interacting too much with us. All of the food was absolutely delicious - we ordered the oriecchiette al limone and chicken parmigiana. The cocktails were delicious, as well as the slice of cake for dessert. We live an hour from the city but are discussing when we can next return! I will be telling all my friends and family about this place!

Food was amazing and the outdoor vibe was perfect. Indoor was a loud, so if you want a whiter setting I’d ask for outside seating.

Cocktails are outstanding, and the atmosphere is incredible. We got a bunch of appetizers (don’t sleep on the bread plate—unreal!)and pastas to share and then ordered our own entrees. The veal chop was so good. I ordered the daily special—Porchetta with rabe—felt like I was back in Italy. Dessert Trio for the win! As always Prima exceeds expectations.

Awesome place. Will be going back and taking out of town visitors. Back room perfect for middle aged people and up as it’s more quiet, while front room had lots of young energy—great mix! Excellent food and service. Reminds you of why eating out is fun!

This was our 5th time there, each time the food and service have been great. The bread plate and snap pea salad were the best and the Orecchiette al Limone and Ziti Bolognese were excellent. We usually go early (5 pm) and make reservations so we always receive a great table, Highly recommend this restaurant.

An absolute gem in Charlestown. Food was unique, and fantastic. From traditional Italian meatballs to the rabbit ravioli, everything was delicious. Only thing better was the service. Tomas out server and he gave us great recommendations for drinks, food and dessert. We can’t wait for our next visit.

Very nice experience, love that they offer a gluten-free night on Mondays which was our original draw. Servers claim that ordering all food at once allows them to “course out your meal” which isn’t true. We received entrees before we were done with appetizers, leading us to believe that this is a way to turn tables faster instead of allowing diners to determine their hunger level and order at a pace they are comfortable with. GF pasta was yummy, clam spaghetti was a little overpowering with acidity. Overall, I think we’ll be back

If you are gluten-free (and even if you're not), I highly recommend Prima. Monday nights are completely gluten-free, and you would honestly never know! Fantastic food and drinks (the salted honey gelato was AMAZING), and our waiter (Kaire) was the cherry on top! Can't wait to go back!
