Le chef Tom Gray fait désormais partie du quartier du centre-ville et de ses marchés avec son nouveau restaurant américain, le Moxie Kitchen + Cocktails. Deux fois nommé au prix James Beard, le chef et son équipe qualifiée favorisent une approche nouvelle et contemporaine, qui offre des inspirations créatives pour le dîner, le souper et le brunch du week-end. Le menu « saveurs américaines d'un côte à l'autre » apporte un style moderne aux plats classiques les plus populaires. Vous pourrez aussi déguster des cocktails artisanaux, des bières locales et une carte des vins de Californie. Ce restaurant en duplex arbore une décoration urbaine rustique, qui donne un ton moderne aux salles à manger. Le bruit des bars et de la cuisine ouverte garantit une ambiance animée. The place itself was very nice besides my table being very wobbly that water would spill everywhere. First 2 meals for their Valentine’s special were mediocre, the third meal I had a filet mignon and I had to spit it out because it was almost not cooked. The server would never help us and we were out of water the whole time there. To top it off and was almost 210 dollars not including tip for 2 people and no drinks ordered for what felt like cruise ship food.

Apps were amazing. Cocktails were fun and our server was really nice he did his best but It was all downhill from there. My rigatoni was cold and undercooked with lamb which was overcooked. Sent back. My gf got lasagna came out ice cold. Sent back just to heat up, instead they come out “86d it.” Worse still the table next to us had just ordered so had to watch them eat lasagna 🤣 Night ruined, then we waited 1.5 hours for next course by that time was over it and just got the check, boxed the food to go. I should have gone anywhere else for Vday. What made me most upset, my gf said Olive Garden would have been better. It looked like everyone else around us had a fantastic meal though. Gave me a 85$ comp but I felt literally robbed. I realize vday a very busy night but that was the first and only time I will be dinning here. :(

Food quality was great, quantity not so much. Very small portions. Service was extremely slow as well.

The valentine’s prixe fix menu was out of this world. The quantity and quality far exceeded our expectations. This was our first experience here and will definitely be back and will recommend

My wife and I went for the Valentine Day event. We paid $85 per person for a 4 course meal with a free "bubblie" at the end. Overall, the food was meh. It was kinda cold when served, and the flavor didn't knock my socks off. Also, we had to return the salmon because it was undercooked. The waiter was more than accommodating, and I will say the timing on the delivery of the courses was spot on. Finally, drinks we ordered we amazing... I'm just not sure it was worth the price. Probably will not do it again.
