Best Hungarian and probably the only Hungarian food in LA. The place is modern and has real clean fresh design and ambience with up beat techno music in the perfect dining appropriate volume. The owner Peter is super gracious, authentic and personal. We were greeted with delicious Hungarian wine tasting and were recommended with the perfect dishes and right amount. All left overs were packed portions were nice size we even shared the soup. Overall, I highly recommend it and will make it my spot to dine in and order for delivery.

Excellent service and food! The owner was very attentive and helped us choose a bottle of wine by giving us a wine tasting at our table.

First time trying Hungarian food. We both ordered the Chicken Paprikas, it was delicious. We shared a Beet Salad that is large enough for 4 people and we shared tiramisu dessert. Yummy food and terrific service. I did not valet park for $10. There is metered parking across the street on Haskell. Great new find.

We had a delightful Girls Night Out at Posto 896...We were looking for a different dining experience and enjoyed some Hungarian dishes and Hungarian wine and Hungarian desserts! We were treated warmly and respectfully, even though we may have overstayed! All in all, a very nice evening! Parking on Ventura Blvd was easy and free on a sunday night...always an added bonus! Thank you Peitro!

Never having eaten Hungarian food I was looking forward to trying it out. DELICIOUS! Moist, tasty, filling and portion size was generous. The restaurant and staff are friendly and informative. Lovely dinner! Thank you Posto 896 for a wonderful dinner and all around evening! Looking forward to going back.

We were pleasantly surprised with this hidden spot. It's a small restaurant maybe 10 tables but very bright and welcoming. The food options are plentiful and authentic. We had never tried Hungarian food and were impressed by the waiters knowledge to help navigate our choices. The wine list is extensive and again the waiter really went out of his way to make sure we were happy with our choice. The dishes were large family style and presentation was delightful.
