Everything was good from food to ambiance. I understand and truly feel the server was very busy and overwhelmed, unfortunately we have to wait longer time to speak with him for orders, bill etc.

We were seated for almost 30 minutes before we had to call someone to place our order. Weren't even served water prior to that. Service has been going downhill since the last year

Our service started out slow - the server was a delight but the delivery was very slow.....then, all of sudden, everything was AMAZING and wonderful! I think they may have had a large group in or maybe even a staffing issue but in the end, it was all a delight!

The food was excellent so I hate to give a bad review, but when the service doesn't match the food, it leaves a disappointing experience. Yes it was a busy Saturday night on the patio, but that doesn't excuse the situation, staff better. After being seated, it took nearly 15 minutes just to get water from some who said "I was asked to pour your water, but I'm off now so that's it". It took 10 minutes more to take our order - which we put in our entire order for fear of how long it would take. We received our appetizers before our drinks arrived. Both appetizers and main courses were very good, although a little expensive for Port Credit. We had to ask other servers for more water as we were sitting out in the sun on a very hot evening. Overall, the food was good, the location is excellent, and the patio is nice. But equip your servers with only enough tables that they can handle.

The restaurant is lovely and so is the patio. However, I can't justify the cost for each item. From the starters, to the mains, abd pizza's. I understand food cost and know the overhead is costly. However, a salad is $20 & once you add a protein, at $16 you're paying $36 for a "salad ". That is very steep! I'm thinking Posta only wants a certain clientele, which I can see when I was there. On a Thursday, at lunch time, beautiful day. Only 5 tables were occupied on the patio and I counted 2 indoors. Maybe the owner needs to give his customers a break on the cost in order to attract more clients. Portions are mediocre, and for the price, very small. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana at $24 . The portion was ok, for me, enough. But I'm not a big eater, but if it were my husband, he would need 2 orders to satisfy his appetite. All the cocktails are $16 & up. Seems the norm now for drinks. Would I go again? Probably not. Too steep for my taste buds, and even though the service was good, the food was "ok", it's all about the cost for what you get. Like a plate of pasta ranges from $30 & upward. Good luck to those who go. Make sure to have extra cash or credit, it's not cheap!
