Portofino’s has been serving the community of Morristown for more than 30 years, providing a welcoming eatery for family and friends to get together. At Portofino’s, diners will find a variety of Italian fare with a special focus on seafood. Some of the popular options on the menu include grilled salmon, risotto pescatore, stuffed flounder, shrimp scampi, spinach ravioli and penne alla vodka. The restaurant also offers an assortment of sandwiches including sausage, peppers and onions, meatball parmigiana and chicken parmigiana, to name a few. This is the first time we dined at Portofino. The host was very attentive and accommodating. The service was excellent, the food delicious. I am often critical on Italian tomato sauce being italian myself and I loved it! I often ask for veggies instead of pasta as a side with Parmesan entrees and I ordered the pasta, it was wonderful. The portions are generous and we brought home a lot of food. Looking forward to Sunday lunch! We brought our friends and they could not stop talking about how good the food and service was. My son ordered the rigatoni as he always does and this was a big hit.

It was good to see Richie! Our server, Gina, was excellent and very attentive. I recommend the beet salad appy and the eggplant parm was perfect as usual.

We find the quality of food and service consistently of high quality. Last night was no different with one exception. Several of us wanted to order veal dishes only to be told there was no veal left. It was 7 o'clock on a Saturday night so we were understandably disappointed. Happily, the substitute meals we chose were quite good. We will continue to dine at Portofino's.

Portofilo was all it is written up to be. I don't know how I missed it before but I'll be back. They boast their meatballs, for example, as not to be missed. Not to be missed? They were as good as my sainted mother's. Every other morsel just as good and the staff was beyond good. Knowledgeable. Helpful. Courteous. Friendly. Attentive but not intrusive. Portions were so generous I could not finish mine - a first. And the pricing is more than fair. I could go on. Portofino is a pure 10 in all respects.
